Best in Irvington VA area

I am so glad we got Mr. Butts to handle our estate and trust. He is down to earth and doesn't try to impress. His assistant and he work very well together and always addressed our questions with understandable answers - not legal mumbo jumbo! We used another attorney years ago in the area but ...hard problems with their lenghy response times and arrogant attitudes. We would definitely recommend Mr. Butts for estate planning. He will simplify your desires for estate planning instead of trying to complicate your estate. In other words, he will not try to gouge you.

Long Needed Service

We finally took action to update our wills and have trusts drawn up. After reservations about the process, "Alfie" and his legal assistant, Jessica, made it enjoyable. Both spent lots of time with us during three visits, explaining and answering questions from us as well as our sons as Trustees. Both... were patient and made explanations easy to understand. We knew from the beginning what the expense would be.

Worth the Drive From Richmond!

My husband and I used Alfie to prepare Wills and Trusts for Estate planning. We are a blended family and had not idea how to organize our Estate Planning. Alfie made a potentially complicated and stressful situation very easy and stress free. He suggested documents that made sense for our specific si...tuation and worked with us to tweak them to our liking. Alfie was professional, knowledgable, and explained the legal documents in manner that was clear to understand. Alfie's knowledge and prices were good enough to make our drive from Richmond for several meetings well worth our time. We would highly recommend him for Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning.

Very thorough

Our estate planning attorney of many years, Dexter Rumsey passed away several years ago and we remember when he hired Alfie. We wanted to update all of our wills, trusts and end of life documents and chose Alfie. He proved to be very patient and helpful in the entire process, but particularly in th...e area of identifying trustees, where to store legal documents, etc. The process is complicated, but he updated all appropriate documents to our requests and has left my wife and me very comfortable in knowing that our estate management will flow smoothly with all paperwork in order and accessible to our trustees. The cost of his work was very reasonable and I would recommend his work to anyone contemplating estate planning.
