Russell Baird Adams III

We found Russell Adams through an internet search for Virginia bankruptcy attorneys and were immediately impressed with the amount of free information on his website. When we emailed for some information specific to our situation, Russ responded immediately. This set the tone for our entire relation...ship. He was responsive and available from beginning to end. Russ was extremely generous with his time, and we feel we got more than our money's worth. We were very upset about needing to file for bankruptcy and felt ashamed of our situation. Russ was so kind and professional, and helped us keep a realistic perspective. He really held our hands through the whole process. We knew we had a good one from the beginning, but it was never more clear than when we went to the courthouse to meet with the trustee. The other people there with counsel seemed unprepared, and so did their attorneys. Some of the other lawyers were not dressed professionally, didn't know the answers to the trustee's questions, and were frankly kind of unpleasant. It was clear that those attorneys "phoned it in." Russ not only looked the part, but he was the consummate professional, had every I dotted and every T crossed, and had a very collegial relationship with the trustee. Because he prepared us so well for the meeting and guided us through it with such expertise, we felt completely comfortable, which we did not expect under the circumstances. We have already recommended Russ to several friends and acquaintances, and would do so again in a heartbeat. We feel really fortunate that we found him and he was able to work with us. Filing bankruptcy is no fun, but Russ helped us to get through it with a positive attitude and a focus on what comes next. We got a real rockstar attorney when we hired him, and are so glad he's the one we picked!

I can't say anything but positive things about Russ. I normally don't like to spend my time writing reviews on people, restaurants, etc. However, I am more than happy to write such a review for Russ. I was referred over to Russ from a friend and he was very kind and informative about the whole proces...s. Nobody likes to have to file for bankruptcy and although it can be quite embarassing, Russ put my mind at ease. Even after the case was over, Russ still was more than happy to help me out even though he was already paid for his services. I would highly recommend Russ!

I’ll start up front by letting you know that even though I’ve posted this anonymously, I’ve told Russ that I’m happy to talk with someone live if someone asks. Also, no…I’m not a friend of his posting this as a favor. After spend...ing considerable time weighing my options regarding filing bankruptcy I’m fortunate that Russ was the second attorney that I discussed my situation with. If you’re not careful, you’ll miss that fact that Russ has an understated confidence that comes from his knowing his profession cold. While he doesn’t wear it on his sleeve, he knows the people, process and what it takes to get you the greatest possible amount of debt relief. And don’t underestimate the value of him being liked by his peers and colleagues as well. He’s definitely well respected in his field. Make sure that when you talk to Russ you don’t miss the subtleties in what he’s telling you. They’re important. I’m not kidding when I say that I don’t think he does this for the money. That said, he was more expensive than the other attorney that I saw, but worth double. Russ knows what he’s doing. On top of everything else, he’s an individual with outstanding character in my opinion. I couldn’t have kept my house intact for the last two years if it weren’t for his guidance, patience (and at least in my case) tolerance. If you want someone live to talk to…tell Russ.
