I recently had a gender-based harassment issue with a former employer that brought me to Shannon at the Spiggle Law Firm. This was my first time having a consultation with an attorney (they refer to it as a strategy conference). From the moment I arrived, Shannon was approachable, displayed empat...hy and took careful notes before providing a recommendation. She could have guided me toward filing a lawsuit that would have cost me a significant amount of money to retain services and in attorney fees, which wasn’t on my agenda in the first place. Instead, Shannon provided excellent legal advice on what steps I could take to try and resolve the issue before taking legal action. She offered verbiage that would inform my employer I knew my rights without sounding threatening. She also provided next steps to take if my first outreach didn’t give the resolution for which I was hoping. We parted with my knowing her door was open any time I wanted to follow through with legal action. I followed her advice and am happy to say my issue is resolved, and I can move on with my life.
