David Barr Albo

After getting a ticket for going over 80 mph on the Dulles Toll Road in VA, which is a major offense in that state, a friend recommended I contact and retain Dave to represent me in this case. I cannot be happier that I listened to my friend. Dave was very easy to work with: he explained the charges,... told me what I would need to do, and about all the potential outcomes. He was also helpful when I told him that I would not be able to attend my hearing date as I would be out of the country at that time. Ultimately, we worked with the prosecutor and got my charges reduced to regular speeding (going 74) and a fine. Again, I could not be happier with the outcome. I would recommend Dave to anyone else who has to go through this stressful process!!

David is incredibly experienced with the Virginia DUI and Refusal laws, having been involved in their creation during his time in government. This knowledge along with his professional relationships and outside of the box thinking enabled him to reach the best possible outcome of my case. The case... consisted of a single car vehicle accident, and arrest for refusal to submit to a field sobriety or breathalyzer tests. Resulting in both a 1st DUI charge and Refusal (Civil charge resulting in 1 year suspended license). David was able to have the Refusal dropped, and DUI reduced to a reckless driving infraction, without the requirement of having an interlock device or the completion of VASAP class. His outside of the box thinking allowed for us to receive the approval of the court to utilize an external treatment program, which was critical as I frequently work out of state and would have been unable to attend a local course and would have had to forfeit my ability to drive for a full year. The entire experience with David was exceptional, his availability and response time (even late in the evenings) was beyond my expectations and helped to assuage the anxiety of what was a first arrest. Highly recommended!

Mr. Albo was everything you look for in a lawyer. I had never ran into any trouble with the law nor had I delt with lawyers prior to getting accused of reckless driving. It was just one of those time when you are focused on other threats on the road and pace yourself off the cars around you. My vehic...le was singled out over the others and I was potentially facing a large fine, loosing my license, and most damaging to my career: a class 1 misdemeanor on my record. Mr. Albo stayed in contact with me leading up to my case. He gathered information that proved very useful in the end. When it came to my day in court he presented said information to the prosecutor and got my entire case dismissed. He was able to recognize that I was a good hearted contributing member of the community and a safe driver and he was able to convey that to the prosecutor. I could not have been more satified with the legal reprisentation that was provided by Mr. Albo and his firm.

Dave Albo did a wonderful job representing me. I hired him because he is extremely knowledgeable due to his many years as a state legislature representative. Not only was he always accessible by phone or email for questions I had, even his payment options were able to be processed via Web. I never ha...d to go in person except for the court date. As you could imagine the potential charge of a DUI can give you a good deal of anxiety. However after meeting with Dave Albo I finally got some peace of mind know that I was in good hands. Additionally, he was very fair in terms of his pricing and was always available to answer additional questions.... In the end my DUI was reduced to reckless driving, which I had told him was my number one priority and Dave was able to negotiate this plea with the prosecutor and officer.
