Words can not express my appreciation to Ofelia for her professionalism, dedication and kindness in her practice, and her knowledge, wisdom & faith in the immigration legal system. I can only say that my family and I thank her from the bottom of our hearts, for her guidance through a long journey... from GC to Citizenship. Ofelia is extremely candid, she would highlight risks associated with every step, as well your rights and what tasks you need to prepare, and she would lead on legal issues which she was extremely well prepared and effective. She is also very responsive and I usually got rely from her for any questions I have within 1-2 days. If you are in search of an excellent immigration lawyer, and especially if your case seems to be complex and you feel that you need someone to guide you, I absolutely recommend you to talk to Ofelia, she will not judge you, and she will be candid with you, and be that lawyer that will be with you each and every step (yes, that is every RFE, every interview, appeal or court if that is what takes) of your journey.

I am very surprised to read a negative review about my lawyer that has been working with my family for a year now. To my knowledge people that I have recommended to her of different races like Africans from Kenya, people from Ethiopia and myself that is from the Caribbean Dominican Republic. All who... I have recommended her to have given me great reports About her work ethics her believe in keeping family together. To my understanding I understand that all cases are different in some cases are the same in my case I've had the experience with my lawyer that she keeps me up-to-date with what's going on, any questions I may have she either emails me back with The answer or she will have one of her staff call me I do not want that people think that I am writing this review for personal reasons I am simply voicing my opinion.

I read the reviews and they are only for Spanish clients. She does not fight vigoursly for clients that are black. She acts like she is doing this to help her race only. She promises a good outcome, once she gets you to pay her she acts like there is no chance in hell that anything can be done for yo...u to stay in the united states. She sides with ICE, she almost seems like she is working for them and not you. I have paid her thousands and my husband is still getting deported and she will not return any of my phone calls. She basically abandonded his case. She is not for blacks at all, if you are from a carribean country DO NOT USE HER. She has an ideal of what thoes people are like and she feels that only Spanish people deserve a chance here in the US. She cares nothing about you the client or your familys hardship.

My wife and i approached Ms. Calderon's firm to represent us during my immigration process. She (Ophelia) has been very attentive and a delight to work with all of the way through to the recent successful completion to attain my green card. Ophelia is hands on with the details of the process, and a...long with a deep knowledge of the steps involved she was always approachable and responsive when called upon.
