Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Wilson was a Legal Assistant for 20 years at several Northern Virginia family law firms. After devoting years to working behind the scenes, she was inspired to pursue law school in 2014, as a part-time student. While attending the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, she served as a student attorney, in the General Practice clinic. She assisted in the appeal of a complex foster care adoption; drafted custodial powers of attorney for immigrant families facing deportation; and spearheaded a project dealing with the controversial topic of supervised injection facilities in other countries. Ms. Wilson also served as student counsel for the Government Accountability Project (now known as the Whistleblower Protection Clinic), where she assisted clients pursuing claims against their employers. Ms. Wilson was also an Associate Editor of her school’s law review.
Ms. Wilson volunteered for AARP's Legal Council for the Elderly, and she currently volunteers her services for Northern Virginia Pro Bono Law Center’s Uncontested Divorce program.

Excellent service
Attorney Wilson was very helpful and provided me with all the information I needed to make a decision about my case. She was fast and efficient and I highly recommender her.
"Victoria is a terrific lawyer. She has an excellent command of the law and of the procedural rules in the courts in which she practices. I have experienced her work both as opposing counsel and as co-counsel, and in all matters, she exhibited the highest standards of professionalism and dedication to her clients. I highly endorse Victoria for any family law matter."
"I give Victoria my highest endorsement. Though I no longer practice in family matters, over the years, I have had numerous occasions to work with Ms. Wilson. She is as diligent and capable as anyone I have ever worked with. Most importantly, she is kind, and as thoughtful an attorney I have ever known. She truly cares about her clients, which says a lot about her. Her attention to detail is without peer. She is someone that I would not hesitate to refer cases to, as I know that those referrals will be in terrific hands. Again, I offer Victoria my highest endorsement."
"I endorse Victoria Wilson. She has a broad based and sound knowledge of the issues relating to family law matters. Victoria also identifies the key issues quickly and easily, and presents them succinctly to opposing counsel and courts. As I myself do not practice family law, I look for other excellent Virginia lawyers that will serve my clients well for frequent referrals. Victoria and her firm are always at the top of my list. They have always served my clients’ family law needs with the utmost competence, professionalism, zeal and decency. In addition to her proficient legal skills, Victoria is also highly responsive, intelligent, honest and diligent. Lastly, but also very importantly, Victoria has long been trained under one of the best and most highly regarded family law practioners in Fairfax, Deborah Wilson. I can see that the apple does not fall far from the tree!"
"I endorse this lawyer. Her diligent nature and attention to detail make her a true asset to the legal community. She is someone who is willing to fight to give her clients the representation that they deserve. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of legal services"
"I endorse this lawyer. She is a quick study and possesses a keen eye for details. She has a razor sharp knowledge of the law and is able to work independently, with minimal supervision. She is an asset to the legal profession and a joy to work with in complex matters."
