Alanna Camille Williams

I am originally from the West Coast where I obtained both a B.S. and a B. A. degree from San Diego State University in 1986.  After spending a month traveling Europe with an Eurail Pass and a Youth Hostel Card, I decided to attend law school. I attended California Western School of Law, graduating in 1991.

I spent the first seven years of my legal career in San Diego, California, where I represented more than 400 clients in a wide range of legal matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice, contract disputes and wrongful banking practices. 

In 1999, I relocated to Northern Virginia and decided I wanted to focus on Family Law. My parents went through an extremely contenscious divorce when I was a teenager and my brother and I were put in the middle of a custody battle. I know from experience how such a case affects children and the affect of parental alienation.  Since 1999, I have focused my practice on family law issues of divorce, custody and visitation, child support, spousal support (alimony) and equitable distribution of property.

October 1, 2016, I officially opened my own practice, The Law Office of Alanna Williams, PLLC, where my entire focus is on family law solutions, not creating more problems for families.
