Mr. Souder and his staff were beyond remarkable during my divorce, custody and child support case, which was a long process. Their professionalism, prompt response to all my calls and the care they showed for me was more than I could have asked for during this difficult time. Especially since I lived... in Florida during the entire process and my case was in Maryland!!! Mr. Souder really was an advocate for my 2 infant children which is what I admired about him. He took my calls and responded to emails outside of business hours again showing his level of care and diligence in my case. * Gene always answered my phone call's even after closing hours. * Up-front about the charges of his fee's (no surprises) * In court Gene was at the Court House a little early to give the latest up-dates + I have been represented by many different lawyers, and felt it was just a waste of money-... Not the case with Gene Souder.

Had no idea just how much Mr. Souder was ruining my case, as I trusted him throughout the process. He is very easily intimidated and does not know his stuff. Eugene is an attorney who is best hired for EXTREMELY amicable situations because the minute anything gets contentious he backtracks on all t...he things he said would most likely be a favorable outcome and tries to convince you to take what they want. He is very, very easily bullied and frankly does NOT know his stuff. His motions are poorly written and show he does not have a handle on family law, at all. He may he a smart and kind person, but as far as having a grasp of the law and smart tactical moves he couldn't be worse. I have never been so disappointed and am now in the processes of digging myself out of the hole he got me in in the first place with a new attorney who is actually knows what he's doing. Eugene is good for nothing but drawing up templates of standard legal documents and showing you where to sign on the x. Add any complication and he gives terrible, frankly detrimental advice.
