Frank Campbell

Although he's undoubtedly the most competent estate planning attorney in Maryland, Mr. Campbell has never been one to rest on his reputation. Indeed, Mr. Campbell treats each of his clients with a level of care and attention typically reserved for family. Unquestionably, I would recommend Mr. Cam...pbell and his fine associates.

Frank Campbell and his colleagues are really terrific. Imagine attorneys who are obviously extraordinarily competent and such fine human beings that it feels like a true privilege to be working with them. These folks are fair (you'll never be urged to do something unless it really makes sense), tho...ughtful and really thorough. We've consulted other attorneys on other occasions, including related to estate planning, so we're fairly confident in saying anyone would have a very tough time dong better than Holden and Campbell.

The Annapolis, Maryland law firm of Holden Campbell first represented my parents during the year 2000, in initially planning their estates, and in preparing their Wills, Revocable Trusts, and related documents implementing their overall estate plan, during 2000, and thereafter as well in preparing an...d executing various amendments to their Wills and Trusts. When my father subsequently passed away during 2004, my mother, as his Personal Representative, retained the firm to act as Counsel to her in executing my father’s estate, which was a relatively simple and smooth process on account of the provisions of his will and his Revocable Trust the firm had prepared. Reflecting her complete confidence in the professionalism and competence of the firm’s work, my mother then asked the firm, during 2008, to advise and represent her again, this time in conducting a comprehensive review of her estate plan in light of the family’s circumstances then prevailing, and in then preparing and executing the comprehensive update, restatement and amendment of her 2000 Will and Revocable Trust. My mother worked closely with Frank Campbell during this 2008 exercise, quickly developing complete confidence in, and comfort with, Frank’s advice reflecting his extensive professional knowledge and expertise in estate planning matters, together with Frank’s highly responsive and effective communication skills. When my mother passed away during 2010, I had been named as her estate’s Personal Representative and her Trust’s Sole Successor Trustee. Being fully engaged with my own work at the time (as General Counsel to a national security related agency of the federal government), I had little time to devote to addressing these responsibilities that had suddenly (and unexpectedly) been thrust on my shoulders. I therefore quickly turned to Frank Campbell, and the law firm of Holden Campbell, once again to advise and represent me in discharging my various responsibilities (as Personal Representative and sole successor Trustee), engagements Frank Campbell once again performed efficiently and effectively, and in accordance with highest standards of professional competence and integrity (and at a most reasonable fee). Frank Campbell’s steady demeanor, yet high level of responsiveness, and his aggressive approach to get done whatever was next needed, were the perfect combination of calm efficiency and effectiveness. I was so impressed with Frank’s efficiency and effectiveness that I have since regularly turned to him, and to the Annapolis, MD law firm of Holden Campbell, for advice and representation in my own estate planning matters, and regularly recommended them to colleagues and friends when in need of estate planning advice and legal representation.
