As a mother of a newborn child, I had so much on my plate to begin with. That was until I realized that I was going to be "battling" for custody. My knowledge of law was sparse, as I had never been in trouble nor had I gone to court for any reason. I felt like I would have to climb an uphill battle t...o educate myself in EVERYTHING. We went from the other party not wanting to agree to anything, to settling with a 50/50 split of custody, the other party dropping all child support I would have to pay, 50% of all costs for our son, and extras I wanted that they were not willing to give at first! I truly hope that no one I know has to go through custody, but if anyone does, I would without a doubt recommend Schifanelli and Associates in a heartbeat!!! Today is Feb 8th, 2015. I posted on Avvo.com inquiring if I am able to revisit an Arbitration case in WA state. Within minutes, Gordana responded with an answer. I explained everything that was going on in detail and she was very energetic and w...illing to provide me free legal advice especially with this issue being from a different state and it being a Sunday night around 7pm.
