I'm very proud to represent victims of work injuries and auto accidents throughout Maryland. As an attorney, my most important responsibility is to make sure my client's rights are protected. It's vital to me that my clients are educated from the beginning so they know what to expect during their recovery period. My job is to reduce the number of surprises and always be up front with every single client I meet. I want my clients to see the whole path in front of them. It's going to be tough at times and we are here to shoulder that burden.
I've spoken to police officers, correctional officers, firefighters, hospitality workers', laborer's, plumbers & steamfitters, bus & train operators (to name a few) throughout the State educating them about their rights when injured on the job. I want all Maryland workers to be armed with the truth about their rights, not just what their Employer or Insurance company tells them.
As chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Maryland Association for Justice, I also help educate lawyers how to navigate workers' compensation cases. I've also testified in front of the Legislature with correctional officers to expand their rights when injured on the job.
I've fought for workers for 17 years. I started out as a union organizer and learned the struggle that workers have to provide a good wage and benefits for their families. That risk is magnified when going through the uncertainty of a work injury.

Bad communication
This attorney/lawyer isn’t what I thought he would be. Very late on certain things like the important things. It’s always they call me back and didn’t leave a voicemail. But will call you one day before your court date to tell you bad news. I don’t get how you are a professional about your job and yo...

Workers Comp case review
I highly recommend Jason Shultz on a workers comp case and from the way he handled my case I would use him as my personal lawyer for any legal situation as well also I give kudos to KATIE she was always on the case for me anytime I had an issue she was excellent also as well as Jennifer they have a ...
"Jason is great! I absolutely endorse this attorney. He's thorough and keen, and really on top of his game. Very responsive, and always advocates for the best results for his clients. A true gem in the legal community. If I had my own W/comp claim I'd hire him in a heart beat. I highly recommend him to anyone!"
"I endorse this lawyer. Jason doesn’t dayplay in other practice areas and claim to be a “go to” in something he barely does. Some other attorneys do, and that’s called being a generalist. That’s not Jason. Jason focuses his practice in an area where he’s become a true asset and go-to on worker’s comp. He knows the laws inside and out, is often a step ahead of other parties because of the tremendous experience he provides his clients. This is an easy endorsement for me to give. I highly recommend Jason. A great choice if you want a fighter in your corner."
"Jason Shultz is not just a good attorney in his field, he's a leader in the legal community. Mr. Shultz is a knowledgable, highly competent advocate for injured workers throughout the state. I endorse his drive, his commitment to the legal community and his skills as an attorney."
"Jason is a bright and energetic attorney. He is committed to his client's and the legal profession. I have had many positive experiences with Jason and he gets great results for his clients. I highly recommend Jason."
"Jason has become one of the preeminent workers' compensation lawyers in Maryland. His knowledge of the law combined with his zealous advocacy make him an excellent choice for workers' compensation representation."
