In the case of the moving pod, the company supervisor insisted repeatedly that the company would not deliver the pod to our driveway where we could unload it at our leisure, as agreed in the contract. Instead, the supervisor invited our attorney to contact him to be told why at OUR expense, we would have to rent a huge truck and hire workers to unload the pod in a remote location, 40 miles from our home, into a truck, and then drive the re-loaded items to our home and unload them a second time ourselves. Despite the supervisor's urging us to have our attorney contact him, within 24 hours of Dan Whitney Jr.'s emailed letter to this supervisor, the company not only resolved the issue, but ended up providing workers to unload the pod for us at our home! Before My wife and I purchase...d our first home, My recent & previous landlord planned to keep our security deposit against MD law and human decency.
