As a last resort, I had to file for bankruptcy. I did not know what lawyer to choose. I came across Mr Portney's ad on-line and gave him a call. He was very knowledgeable and explained the bankruptcy process in layman's terms. Needless to say , he became my attorney. I was in a bind due to being abandoned by my ex-husband and a divorce. I never recovered. My house was scheduled to be Foreclosed on and I went to the Federal Building in Baltimore to file bankruptcy. In short, everything turned out fine and I will have my bankruptcy confirmed. It was as good as it could be providing the situation.
