Michael Wilsman is the assigned lawyer for my employer's legal service plan. I recently switched to this plan on the hearty endorsements of several of my coworkers who had consulted with him on various issues. My experience with him last week did much to reinforce what I had heard! I sought his advi...ce on a very contentious family estate matter - one in which an ambiguously written will and volatile emotions were obstructing the finalization of my mother's estate. There were additional complications involving historical land values and life estate issues - and a wide variety of opinions to make anyone's head spin! Mr. W. did a thorough job explaining the law and provided me with a clear path to resolution - one I could make peace with after spending several months anguishing over what would be a fair outcome. My initial contact with him was by phone, and he was more than generous with his time even then. My face to face consultation lasted well over an hour. I never felt rushed by him, and sensed that he wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with the course of action that he recommended before I left. BTW, I did have trouble finding the office and thus I was late for the appointment. He was great about that, too!
