Norman v. Borison, et al, 192 Md.App. 405, 994 A.2d 1019 (2010), aff'd, 418 Md. 630, 17 A.3d 697 (2011)
N/AOUTCOME: The plaintiff's claims against the defendants were dismissed with prejudice and the Court of Special Appeals affirmed.
This was a defamation case in which several attorneys and law firms who represented clients that were plaintiffs in a "mortgage foreclosure rescue scam" class action litigation were sued by one of the ... co-owners of a bankrupt title company that had been a defendant in the class action lawsuit. The Circuit Court for Montgomery County dismissed the plaintiff's claims with prejudice based upon the plaintiff's lack of standing as well as the judicial proceedings privilege. The Court of Special Appeals affirmed.
