I hired Debbie to help me out of a very tenuous situation. She listened to me and knew how important this was for me to settle and she proved it in her actions. Debbie explained all I needed to know to make an informed decision during our first phone call. After that call, I knew I was not going to l...ook for another attorney for representation. She always made herself available to answer any question for me (day, night and weekends). Debbie made me feel as if I were her only client. She is trustworthy and non-judgmental. Debbie prepared me for what process I could expect. Walking out of her office after our first meeting, a great amount of worry was lifted off my shoulders. I knew I was working with the perfect person. She took care of my case the next day, gave me a call to let me know my case resulted in my favor! Which relieved me of stress and anxiety, I learned she is a woman of her word. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for representation. I can't thank her enough for how she was able to turn what seemed like a hopeless situation, completely around for me.

I felt like I was rushed through our entire court process. As Mrs. Van Bergen did not take what I wanted in account or hear my side of the case, instead she was more focused on what my wife attorney has to say and getting the case over with. and took days to returne my calls or addressed my concerns.... . she gives the impression that she is a very knowledgeable lawyer, however she never showed real proof of this to me either. She has failed to present my side of the case, and did not explain reason of why should I plea no contest, but the real reason is she will not fight for you. in addition to being very inexperienced attorney, she doesnt know how to represent herself amongst attorneys and infront of the court ,and charges too much for her lack of experience. in addition she failed to provide detailed billing and failed to return unearned portion of the advance retainer. bottom line is: her office is only open day a week friday, the rest of the days you have an answering machine to speak to, she will not give you any other method of communication, she has made me plea to no contest when I have strong case built against my wife.

Debbie is such a wonderful attorney. My house was going into foreclose and on top of that my pay check was also getting garnished. Debbie was able to stop the foreclose AND get all the monies back that was garnished. While going through this difficult time, Debbie gave me her personal cell phone numb...er so I could reach her at any time. I called her numerous of times after hours and even on weekends and she answered all of my calls. I would not have been able to do all of this without her. I highly recommend her to anyone I know.

Allowed me to make payments to her. I had her cell phone number and she addressed my issues even in non business hours. Waived a large amount of my fee because my spouce was being horrible and tried to scare me with a bunch of pleadings. Have referred her to several other people and they like h...er also.
