Thank you Naima

I had a a very complicated situation , My family and I lost B1/B2 visa after overstaying and got refused L1 visa, But Naima the miracle worker helped me to get e2 visa. She is a genius and she is professional in her work, she has such experience that she told me exactly what the consul will ask me ...in the interview . And the best part of her that I didn't feel that I am dealing with a lawyer but I felt she is like my sister who took care of my case as her own. She has an excellent team which adds up to the awesomeness of this lawyer.I would recommend Naima to anyone who has an immigration case .

Long Standing Immigration Matters

Space allowed on this forum is limited but would like to provide some background on my case. In 1993, immigration denied my i130 / i485 applications filed by my US citizen spouse on the basis that not enough evidence was provided with regards to the fact that the marriage was legal. Further mention w...as made by the interviewing officer that there were inconsistencies in our interview answers suggesting that the marriage could have been a fraud to obtain benefits. I met Ms. Said in 2000 after subsequent marriage to another US citizen meet with immigration challenges on future i130/i485 applications. These latter applications were denied because of first denial. A conclusion was drawn 6 or 7 years later that the first marriage was a sham. Several persistent petitions/attempts by Ms Said to convince immigration that a conclusion cannot be drawn on the new case based on inconclusive findings from the original case met with no success. Ms. Said ultimately advised me that we must file an appeal with the Board of Immigrations Appeal - BIA. Given that we did not have much options and the trust we had built for Ms. Said over several years we proceeded with the appeal. Nineteen years later, my wife and I are shouting victory and AMEN! Ms Naima won the BIA appeal and the board has asked immigration to issue a new decision on my case. Even though we believe in divine intervention, there is no way this would have been possible without Ms Said's expertise, knowledge, candid approach, trustworthiness and dedication to us! Beyond providing legal advice, there were many times she acted as counselor and provided inspiration to my wife and I as she clearly understands the nature of her work and negative decisions could be daunting to her clients. My wife and I would highly recommend Ms. Naima Said for any and all immigration matters!! We cannot thank her enough - SHE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!!!

She never quits...

I interacted with Naima twice in immigration related issues. First when I applied for my green card, under the National Interest Waiver, and then when the approval of my naturalization application was delayed. The latter had been actually languishing for five years, but I got a quick approval (litera...lly in 10 days or so) only after she filed the mandamus petition. I found Naima to be very knowledgeable and very dedicated. Her perseverance is unwavering. She kept pursuing my cases until I got approved, in both instances. Because of my experience with her, I was not surprised when I told one of my acquaintances that I am one of her clients, and he enthusiastically said “man…she never quits”. Apparently, he had a very difficult immigration case that she was working on and it ended in his favor.

"Naima is a very experienced and well respected attorney in the legal community. Naima contributes greatly to our immigration bar by volunteering on several committees. To name a few, Naima is the Chair-Elect of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, DC Chapter and past Chair of the Maryland State Bar Immigration Section where we have been working together. We have also participated together at the National Day of Action for several years. In addition, Naima is a frequent speaker at the immigration law conferences where she is educating fellow attorneys on different aspects of the immigration law. I have found her to be not only extremely dedicated to our profession but also very compassionate. Next to her busy work schedule, Naima finds time to help immigrant children on a pro bono basis. She is a real asset to our bar and immigrant community alike. I am honored to endorse Naima!"

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
