Fred B. Goldberg

My experience with Fred Goldberg is that he is an extremely knowledgeable, responsive and effective attorney. He took my medical malpractice case when I had already moved from the DC/MD area and did not think anyone would want to bother with a small case on behalf of someone 3,000 miles away. He ...worked with me extensively by e-mail and phone over a number of months and counseled me through a successful mediation and settlement. He took the case entirely on contingency and could not have been a better advocate or behaved in a more professional manner. He took time to explain anything I needed to know, any time I asked, and was clearly highly experienced with the type of case I presented. Mr. Goldberg represented me as if I were the most important client he had, which is all one can ask. Someone looking for an attorney in his areas of practice could do no better than to engage this fine and highly skilled gentleman.

I had to sue a lawyer! Hard to find a lawyer with the integrity and grit to do this! I was lucky to find this brilliant and professional gentleman, who is tough but clearheaded enough to know when to push and when to settle. He helped me make sensible decisions. He was on contigency, as are most if ...not all of his cases. He had just finished up an international case and was ready to take on mine. He knew his way around the local judicial system to help counsel me about a realistic settlement. I knew he had the respect of the opposition's attorneys which kept everything at a low rancor level. He had a great sense of humor as well. I was well informed. He was ALWAYS available by phone or email (and I know I was not one of his high paying clients). I could tell he took cases only with merit and interest. In fact, at first he was hesitant to take mine until he had more information. He has a respected history in the area and I was grateful to have him on my side.

Overall, I wasn't impressed with the level of service I received from Mr. Goldberg. My calls and emails were rarely returned - and I wasn't kept up to date on my case. More often than not, the notices I received in the mail from the state regarding my case came faster than a response from him. Ho...nestly, if it weren't for my reluctance to switch my lawyer mid-case I would have. I felt as if I were a different person with more money, I would have received better service. I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone.
