Biography
Lauren Kollecas is a Maryland criminal defense and family law attorney. For her undergraduate eduation, Lauren attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she received her BA in Russian History in 2010. From there, she attended law school at Catholic University, graduating in 2013. Upon joining the Maryland Bar in December 2013, she worked for a small firm in Rockville before taking a position as a prosecutor for the great state of New Mexico in 2015. While out west, she prosecuted hundreds of cases with a wide variety of charges, including DWIs, assaults/batteries, drug offenses, and domestic violence. Upon moving back to Maryland in 2016, Lauren joined Azari Law. Since that time, she has handled myriad cases from divorce, custody, and child support to DWI/DUI, sex offenses, and first-degree murder.
