Ineffective and Expensive

I felt Mr. Pearlstein, and his firm were ineffective in handling my case. It seemed we were always a step or two behind the other side. I didn’t feel he had a solid handle on my case which ended with a settlement agreement. That agreement did not address the issues and has also proven to be ineffecti...ve. I felt the charges were way beyond the delivered service

All that glitters is not gold

I hired Mr. Pearlstein after a thorough research and careful consideration. His AVVO reviews were raving and he appeared knowledgeable and well-respected. Once the attorney was retained, my case was without my consent passed on to a junior attorney with Mr. Pearlstein only overviewing their work. At ...several important hearings, Mr. Pearlsten was not present and passed my Court representation to one of the partners, unfamiliar with my case, which resulted in poor outcomes. I received conflicting information and advice from the junior attorney that differed from that of Mr. Pearlstein. There seemed to be no orderly flow in the way the case was being prepared for and some of the important strategies were omitted and short cuts taken. The ball was dropped on the case "homework" that was not completed in a timely manner and as a result, important expert witness testimony was omitted from the trial. What started out as a no brainer of a family law case that Mr. Pearlstein indicated he felt very confident about, ended up as a pitiful defeat, for which Mr. Pearlstein accepted no responsibility. If you are looking for strong representation in a family case, don't count on this firm. At the end of the day, you will be left with a sky high bill and a lost case. Once the case is done, you become no more then a billing number.

Intimidating, but isn't that the point?

There is seriously NO ONE else I would want on my side of the table or courtroom than Mr. Pearlstein. Please do not mistake his demeanor as detached. I have no doubt he has been fully engaged throughout his service as my attorney. I respect his ethics and his conduct. He is not there to be my friend,... and that is how it should be. He does his job, and does it well with and unemotional sense of what is appropriate and what his client can handle. He will NOT push a client to do what he knows they cannot do. But he will advise them well on strategies for future consideration. You may have to give a little today, in order to come back later and fight harder when you CAN. THAT is what makes him outstanding.

Brian Pearlstein Review

Felt he was a little distant in my case. Not fully engaged. I feel he encouraged me to settle when we should have proceeded.

I am always fully engaged and responsive to my clients. Additionally, I always try to provide clients with the best advice and most objective views on the issues at hand. The risks and increased cost of litigation must be weighed against the potential outcome by proceeding to trial. Ultimately, it is the client's decision whether to settle or proceed to trial.

Review of Brian Pearlstein

Brian and his firm does excellent work. He has been very responsive and have been able to thoroughly answer my questions. When I walked into his office for our first meeting, I was completely frustrated and distraught. It's not easy to take being accused of something that you know is a complete and f...abricated lie for monetary gain. After talking with Brian I was completely relieved and at ease. He explained my situation from a legal standpoint and gave me enough information during our first meeting that enabled me to workout a strategy to protect myself. I would use him again and I would highly recommend him.
