Seth sent me a letter in the mail that provided information and instructions on the time, place and what to bring regarding the meeting of the creditors. I also received two helpful reminder phone calls about it in the days running up to the meeting. The meeting was held exactly where I was instructe...d to go. Seth met me in the general waiting area and talked me through what would happen in the meeting, which would occur in an adjacent room. After reviewing with me what to expect, he suggested we enter the meeting room where we could watch other people go through the meeting process and get an even better sense of what would happen. I did this and it was a good idea. Seth's coaching and confidence helped me to feel relaxed and prepared. When my name was called, Seth accompanied me to the table with the trustee. The meeting process went very smoothly, cleanly, and quickly. Not only did Seth use his social and emotional skills to help me stay calm and focused during the process, I also observed that he was able to personally connect with the trustee and foster a feeling of all-around ease. After the meeting, he let me know that the next step was to wait and see about the Chapter 7 decision, and reminded me to take my debtor education course, providing a flyer with contact information for a low cost service where I could do so. As we left the meeting and walked toward the parking lot, Seth maintained an impressively professional, respectful, proactive and friendly demeanor, which I appreciated. Overall, he made the meeting with the creditors experience painless. He humanized the entire process.
