Abandoned my car

Ray’s review: I had a great experience with Mr. Anthracite as my legal representation. I lost control of my vehicle and damaged a family’s fence and grass; while driving with expired registration. While I had provided the owner with all of my personal information and insurance, I foolishly left my... vehicle after arranging for it to be towed. I did not realize that this would be a potentially incarcerable offense after my forthcomingness with the property owner. Nevertheless, I faced a multitude of fines and possible jail time. Ray was incredibly diligent and helpful in making sure that I did everything possible to lessen the severity of my offense. He routinely followed up on my deliverables, as well as on the important court date and location. I can’t recall where I learned about his services, but he was very reasonably priced when compared with many of the solicitations that I received in the mail. In the end, everything was dropped and I didn’t receive a single fine from the court. A happy ending, no doubt.

A great lawyer to have on your side

He was very quick to return my calls and so easy to get ahold of. He worked with me tirelessly and walked me through with ease. He took care of my case and made sure nothing was missed. I wouldn’t have gotten through without him. I would highly recommend him and had a super great experience worki...ng with him. His price was reasonable and he never left me in the dark each step of the way leading up to the very date of court. A huge thank you to him for all his efforts and support.

Raymond Anthracite is Fair Enough

Ray Anthracite Is Fair Enough A law school professor once chastised me as an erstwhile law student: “don’t to confuse “What is Fair” with “The Law.” The punch line: The lawyer was a Jesuit. Every now and again, you can find an attorney with both a reverence for “justice” that can handle legal matte...rs with the compassion of a devotee. That is how I would describe Mr. Raymond Anthracite. I worked with Ray for over an 8-month period in relation to an escalating neighborhood dispute; If you are experiencing what may be deemed unjust or completely unsubstantiated civil complaints or spurious criminal claims, I strongly recommend you consult with Ray. Extensive Professional Experience I chose Ray for his practical expertise with surveillance and surveillance technologies that could be leveraged across multiple matters. Ray possesses the unusual combination of credentialing that poses a “triple threat” in both civil and criminal law: expertise in information technology, a Juris doctor and a little over a decade of litigation experience. Pre Court Room Many lawyers rely on the pomp and formality of their title or their standing within the State Bar association to humble their clients. During client intake, Ray quickly establishes a rapport with the client by explaining, in lay person’s terms, immediate and potential legal issues the client will face as well as the criminal procedure. He makes himself highly available on evenings and weekends as new facts emerge about a case. Ray’s professionalism towards me extends beyond a 5-star Martindale Hubble rating and his ethics in handling sensitive details of my case exceed the standards set by the State bar. Courtroom Many lawyers are good theoreticians but fall short when arguing a case before a Judge or a State panel. During discovery phases, Ray posits a case from all angles: “State’s Attorney”, “Victim”, “Defendant”, “Charging Officer” and “ Judge.” Further, on the hearing day, Ray takes the time to prepare each of the players regarding the facts of the case, his legal opinion of its relative merits and his arguments and rebuttals before it is ever heard. His knowledge of criminal procedure and the peculiarities of local jurisprudence make him aware of the subtle negotiation tactics that lead to my complete acquittal. Post Courtroom Post court, many lawyers never close the loop on their client’s rights. Ray provided detailed instructions on the steps I could take to maintain a clean record and provided immediate filing assistance at a reasonable cost. While Ray was not bound to provide any further legal advice, he kindly described the specific practical steps that I could take to avoid (or defend) any future encounters. I am impressed with all aspects of his criminal defense services. I strongly recommend that you retain Ray Anthracite.

Ray Anthracite - Superb in Court

Ray won with flying colors my case, a malicious peace order hearing based upon false accusations. It was a complicated and difficult case with certain challenges due to the malice and mendacity involved on the part of the petitioner whom Ray exposed during cross examination. Ray came to court t...otally prepared for battle, hit the ground running and never looked back until we had secured victory. As my attorney, Ray had total command of the law, citing numerous cases during arguments, and total recall of the facts which he wielded during cross examination. He prepared me for my own testimony with perfect advice that was both concise and useful. I calmly testified remembering what Ray had told me. At the end, the judge ruled that there was no statutory basis for the peace order. The entire ordeal took a few weeks. From the moment we met, Ray was straight-forward, honest, conscientious, detailed, thorough, attentive, empathetic, smart, practical, instructive, and cordial. Ray is that rare lawyer who brings great legal talent and high rhetorical skill without the big ego that usually shows up with either of them. Ray let me know exactly what was expected of me and what I needed to do. We continuously went over the facts, gathered and discussed the evidence, and planned our legal strategy. We spoke by telephone numerous times. We met repeatedly. Again and again, we discussed every aspect of the case. We argued, we negotiated, we agreed. Ray listens. Ray guides. Ray collaborates. Ray knows how to make bricks out of straw. Ray knows the law. And Ray knows how to think through a case. Ray is a winner. He's very good and not very expensive. I look forward to working with Ray again. And so i would highly recommend him.

AVOID AT all costs!!

This guy wreaks of inexperience. His appearance is horrible. No attorney should look like a surfer in court. He's hard to understand due to the fast pace of his speech. His presence is unsettling due to his constant and what looks to be uncontrollable twitching. He stutters and stammers over his... words and his confidence in court seems to be low. This attorney charged me a flat fee of $3000 for a temporary protection order case, in which I had no chance of winning.
