Ms. McLeod did an absolutely fantastic job for me. She helped drive a negotiation that cleaned up all kinds of incompetence and open holes left by my last attorney. Ms. McLeod was incredibly well prepared, had her arguments worked out and brought great closure which got me way more time with my dau...ghter. My ex absolutely hated her. She was always professional, but she was no non-sense and able to call out her schemes and games. She was a sharp tack and totally shut down my ex's schemes. I give Ms. McLeod my endorsement one-hundred million times over. I so wish I had her as my attorney the first go round, but she did a lot to make a bad deal more tolerable with respect to access time with my daughter which was my number one concern. I started off with a nice guy - trying to be civil, and ended up putting myself and my access to my daughter at extreme jeopardy. Divorce is war. As much is it is not in my natural grain and faith do be that way, you have to come at it hard. Another attorney gave me advice that I wish I had listened to. It's always easier to be nice later than it is to start off nice and then get tough later. Ms. McLeod is totally a nice person, but she will be tough when it comes to protecting your interests and helping you to think clearly.

Gave the review because I do not know what a standard proceeding is but Ms. McLeod has handled everything very professionally. She has informed me prior to the events on what to expect and has demonstrated poise under harsh conflicts and situations. She is very quick to respond and provide her advise... based on sounds reasoning and not just guesses or feelings. It shows that she cares about the clients and is not just there to play a part or a role. This aspect of her makes the court proceeding a lot more manageable and reduces stress. I contacted her last minute, due to the nature of the case, and she made it possible to meet and discuss the case. The characteristics of her that I have appreciated the most is her professionalism and sticking to the facts of the case and not just looking at my best interest. She looks at the bigger picture and explains the consequences of my decisions. This is especially important when children are involved and the other party is hostile like in my particular case. Another aspect that I consider in which she has done an excellent job is helping explaining all the legal jargon and wording that makes no sense to an average person.
