I was raised in Kensington and Silver Spring, Maryland. I am married to Terry M. Shuch. We are the parents of two economists.
In my spare time, I enjoy Nats games, the BSO at Strathmore, and Shakespeare Theater Company productions.
I have always been active in the Jewish community. In 1999, I co-founded Shoresh Hebrew High School, a unique Jewish studies program for 8th-12th grade students attending secular schools in the Greater Washington area. Shoresh builds a strong foundation for students to become critical thinkers about Jewish heritage, to find a sense of shared community and destiny among all Jews, and to meet the challenges of American Jewish life. Since Shoresh incorporated in 2012, I have served as President of its Board of Directors.

He knows family law
I used Neal for my divorce ten years ago, and then used him for modifying my child support. He was able to navigate the system favorably both times. I highly recommend his firm.
"I endorse this lawyer. Neal is wicked smart and wins every argument -- even with friends and family I'm sure. I send clients to Neal who need to stop the train and turn it around and get things to go their way. Neal is a worthy adversary."
"Neal is an excellent litigator and mediator. He knows how to get results in mediation. And, if the matter cannot be settled, he and his partner, Nogah Helfant, are a great team to have to pursue your interests at trial."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Meiselman is a very skilled litigator and a zealous advocate. He is also an excellent mediator."
"I have sent Neal several clients who have been quite pleased with his services. Neal is very knowledgeable about family law and he is a very talented litigator and negotiator."
