Michael represented me in my first (and only) offense- a DUI. From the beginning, he was a calming force and was very reassuring and informative during our first contact over then phone, and then later in his office. Before signing a contract, Mike even gave very thorough legal advice and made sure t...hat I clearly understood what was to come. I decided that I wanted him to represent me in that same setting. Mike gave me clear instructions and wisdom on what to get done prior to my court date. He advised that if I completed certain steps, that I would be positioning myself for a more favorable outcome. Leading up to court, he was very responsive and answered emails very promptly. The day of my hearing, Michael advised me again prior to entering the court room. He reassured me again and coached me regarding my poise and responses before the judge. It was clear that he had done his part. I got an even better outcome than I expected that day. I am sincerely grateful to Michael and never once regretted my decision to have him represent me. It was certainly time and money well spent. Even further, I appreciate that he is a down-to-earth individual, who never seemed to judge me or look down on my me because of my irresponsible decision. He encouraged me to look forward and change my decisions for the better in the future. Looking back, I can see that he is a reputable attorney in Montgomery County, and has established a rapport with judges and other legal personnel within. Michael Garagozlo was critical in my DUI case. Terrible incident took place and thanks to his brilliance, preparedness, and ambition I got an outcome I couldn't be happier with. The result wasn't just favorable, his outstanding work resulted in what feels like a miracle. Michael was comforting and kn...owledgeable during the entire process, but most of all he was available at all times with prompt emails, texts, calls, etc that went above and beyond anything I could've asked for. I'll forever be grateful to have had him as an attorney and this entire experience has grown me into a better man. For more specifics: I got a DUI double the legal limit with many other traffic infractions. Michael returned my call immediately and invited me for a consultation. I was immediately impressed with his confidence, experience, and comfort and agreed to hire him. He gave me advice and pushed me to be proactive about getting the most favorable outcome available. He urged me to get an interlock device installed on my car before court and had a discount for the installation, helped me enroll in education classes to get them done before a judge would issue it, and pushed me to complete a substantial amount of community service so when the hearing rolled around the judge would see I've already completed most of what would be court ordered and could enter an incredibly favorable plea. He was able to get me a PBJ on the DUI with minimal probation requirements, freedom to travel, no supervision, only 1 point from another traffic offense, and a mere ~$250 fine with all the other charges null pros.

Let me start this review by saying that I chose Mr. Garagozlo based off of other reviews I read online. After getting a DUI along with 4 other citations, I was frantically searching for a good lawyer with plenty of experience. I found Mr. G. This man is awesomeeee!! Extremely professional, timely res...ponses, fair costs, always on top of everything..... He helped the outcome of my case much better than if I had chosen to take this on by myself. I recommend him to anyone in search of a Maryland lawyer who needs someone to pay close attention to their case.
