Marc was my counsel in a case. He is very forthright and did the right things and walked me through the process with great care. He is a very thoughtful and insightful human being and is someone I would place trust in especially when there was so much at stake. His conciliatory approach is a great pl...us. SaId he was experienced in the area I needed, took my case, and took my money. Did not send the defendant the official forms that my later (much better) lawyer sent. After spending all of my retainer, told me he didn't believe we could win, although nothing had changed from when he took the case. Did... not return one cent of my retainer. Increased my stress enormously at a very bad time in my life. By contrast, my second lawyer won the case easily; jury was out only 20 minutes.

I worked with Marc on a complicated case, one that covered many areas of law. Marc was honest with the areas within his specialty that he was comfortable providing representation for and was up front with all costs, as well as provided estimates of total work needed, if requested. Marc took the time ...to understand the bigger picture, in order to ensure that he was able to provide the best representation possible, even if certain issues and claims were not within his specialty. If Marc was not able to help me with a concern I had pertaining to my case, he always provided a referral for someone who would most likely be able to help me, or who could at least help answer questions. Marc was patient and understanding, as well as direct and thorough. Maya, who is his associate, is also excellent and incredibly helpful. Both Maya and Marc spent time making sure that every claim could be backed by legislation and had evidence to support it. If he did not feel as though he had adequate evidence or legislation to support a claim, Marc was clear in the direction that he felt was best to take. Once all facts were considered, Marc's integrity and work ethic provided the best possible outcome for my case.

An excellent and efficient lawyer. Mr. Emden understands how the system functions and plans his strategies accordingly. He has a knack for finding seemingly trivial details about your case and using them efficiently. He makes it clear that he is in partnership with you and that you are a significant ...part of the process. Also, he understands that people hire lawyers in times of stress and, while he insists on getting to the truth of the matter, he is a kind and compassionate man. We were lucky he was the first to call us when we sent out several email feelers at 8:30 on a Sunday morning.
