A native of Northern Ireland, I have resided in the Washington DC area since February 1999.
The law firm Frank and Delaney Immigration Law LLC is based in Bethesda, MD and set at the intersection of science and business, the firm focuses on the representation of foreign born nationals with their temporary and permanent visa applications on a company, individual, and institutional basis. This includes an emphasis on Extraordinary Ability and National Interest Waiver applications, EB-1B and PERM, as well as E-Visas for Investors, L-Visas for Intracompany transfers, O & P Visas and J-Waivers. We also assist individuals with family based and naturalization cases
Prevously, as a partner with the law firm of Leavy, Frank & Delaney, LLC I had the opportunity to work with individuals, companies and organizations from all areas of the United States to assist them with their immigration concerns. While we work with our clients on all aspects of US immigration law, our concentration is on assisting scientists and researchers with their visa matters.
During my time in practice I have had the opportunity to offer educational Legal Seminars in conjunction with the National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) aimed at International Postdocs and Research Scientists, where we discuss temporary and permanent visa options with an emphasis on Extraordinary Ability and National Interest Waiver applications.
In 2010 I was honored to receive an invitation from the NPA to serve on their Advisory Council and currently continue to hold this position. We also publish quarterly articles in the NPA newsletter, the POSTDOCket, related to issues relevant to international postdocs, scientists and researchers.
