This firm took my case and did minimal work to then quit the case in the middle of litigation placing the outcome of my case at risk. J. Anukem & Associates then placed a judgment on the case they quit and took me to court for the balance of legal fees before the case was resolved. I believe these ac...tions were retaliatory for me reporting their activities to the Maryland Bar Association. As such I would not be willing to recommend this firm to anyone seeking legal counsel.

I believe her ability to communicate with clients and the jury stems from the fact that she thinks like a person sitting in the jury box or in the judges seat...on a level that is so understandable, so straightforward and so credible. Whenever I have consultation with her on a case I know the case wi...ll be handled well and I will receive the best representation possible.

Looked at the reviews on Avvo. I don't know where or how she got five stars. Wanted to give 0 but that was not an option. She is personable and pleasant. However, she is ineffective, tells you what you want to hear. Charges a lot of money and I do mean a lot for not much work. Nothing gets done... unless you push it and strategy changes in mid stream. She is hard to reach by phone and does not call back within a reasonable amount of time and you may have to make several calls to reach her. Of course, the standard reply is she is in court.. Her preparation for court was inadequate. She was not prepared for cross examination. The same information was given to her over and over again and iher reaction was like she was hearing it for the first time. Save yourself time, money and aggravation and get another attorney. You will be glad you did. Trust me on this.

There is a great deal I could write in describing the absolute genius of Jennifer Anukem and her firm. The bottom-line which I cannot over emphasize is Ms. Anukem is absolutely transparent and a complete legal master. From the first conversation I had with Ms. Anukem through a painstaking trial, Ms.... Anukem has been consistent in presenting me with all possible outcomes. Her recommendations are based on wisdom and foresight. Ms. Anukem was not hasty to take my case before a Judge, not because I had a weak case, but because she genuinely desires the best results without unnecessary court actions. In fact, she provided me with very wise advice to reach my desired outcome when I originally contacted her in 2015. Her intelligent advice was focused on reaching my goal without the depressing challenge of going to court and facing the economic burden that comes with it. Sadly, that wise approach was not successful due to the complexity of my situation. I found myself being pulled before a Judge. However, I had and continue to have full trust in Jennifer Anukem. She is patient, compassionate, firm in her counsel and above all else a true genius of the law. The nature of my case is extremely personal and has had multiple layers of complexity. Despite the ups-and-downs, Ms. Anukem has provided an unbreakable defense which in-turn has given me peace-of-mind and resulted in victory in the courtroom.
