Professional and Results Oriented Family Attorney

Mr. Moreton helped me through an extremely difficult child custody and divorce case. He was prompt, professional and most importantly he was able to deliver the best results possible for my family.

Divorce/Custody Case

I have had a few lawyers and Mr. Moreton has been the one that stands out the most. I had a very challenging divorce and Mr. Moreton was blunt and straight to the point, regarding the position I was in. He was also very understanding and compassionate to the situation at hand. The one thing that stands out most, besides his friendly and poised demeanor, is his ability to think very quickly and out of the box. This quick thinking, helped me with my case in court. It wasn't planned prior to court, but his quick thinking produced a result needed in the moment. I would highly recommend his counsel.

Outstanding workmanship of Mr. Robert D. Moreton

I sought Mr. Robert D. Moreton's help to get a divorce. Mr. Moreton is highly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. As Mr. Moreton told me, my divorce was granted with the timeframe he planned. Mr. Moreton made my divorce easy, as he did 100 percent of the litigation. Mr. Moreton was always there for me whenever I had any questions with my case. Mr. Moreton and his firm was very courteous whenever I arrived there for business. Mr. Moreton's staff (Ms. Miranda L. Clare) did an exceptional job updating me on the case and was also very helpful. Everyone at his office was very helpful. I am very glad I chose Mr. Moreton to represent me. I recommend anyone to seek Mr. Moreton's help for legal matters.

I couldnt have asked for better representation!

Rob was recommended to me by a local Florida firm. I had to deal with Rob and his firm long distance, as I live in Florida and the lawsuit was filed in the state of Virginina. Rob and his team were fantastic! I was kept informed every step of the way and received email updates regularly. Anytime I called the office, my requests/inquiries were handled promptly and efficiently. In a very short period of time we were able to come to a resolution. I was very pleased with the outcome and felt that Rob and his team stayed focused on my goals and what I needed to accomplish. Need a good attorney and one that will work their butt off?? It's easy to recommend Moreton and Edrington!

Professional and Responsive!

Mr. Moreton was enormously helpful in providing last-mintue advice in an inter-state divorce case. I was impressed and pleased with his professionalism, knowledge of the law, creativity, and willing to tackle a thorny case head-on. He showed the utmost regard for my legal rights. While he was able to resolve the situation quickly in my favor, he also strategized on future legal actions had any been needed. His legal assistant was responsive and professional, as well. I will use this team again.

Not Recommended!

I retained this lawyer to represent me in a custody trial (which he claimed he specialized in) but I dont think he was very knowledgeable with family law, as he only got me in a worst position there where I started alone. What was supposed to be a quick temporary custody case is still unresolved and going on 2 years I have not seen my children. He refused to subpoena any witnesses, no prep was done, he screamed at me in his office at the top of his lungs, and told me to "shut up" in front of the GAL on my case. The man would not return phone calls or emails, I would have to call multiple times to try to get him on the phone or a call back and it would be over a week or 2 for a response! I asked his to have CASA appointed, he refused, when it is needed and pretty standard in my situation. Every time it was time for my trial, he would find a way to have it continued. I did not see any fight from him for me, basically it was pointless and a huge waste of time and money. Maybe he is a good lawyer in other areas but I would NEVER recommend him for any type of family law case!!!!!!!!!
