I am young adult who got in trouble twice with the law. From the jump, Mr. Clark told me what I needed to do and the reality of my situation. Back in October, I made and stupid decision and I was pulled over and blew a .09. I was facing a DUI first offense charge. This was my first run in with the law so I was unfamiliar with the territory. Andrew made the process easy for me and explained everything in detail including all the angles we w...ould be taking if the case went to trial. He was super confident about fighting the charge and was determined not to take anything less than a reckless. Prior to the trial date, it seemed the offer by the prosecution was equivalent to a DUI (reckless with no option to expunge DUI arrest, 1 year of interlock followed by 1 year probation. Pretty intense for a 1st offense with no prior convictions and perfect driving record...like relax -_- . Anyways, Jeffrey was not going to settle for this offer. On trial day, everything Jeffrey mentioned in terms of how things would play out and prosecution readiness was accurate. This made me feel very comfortable on the trial day. It then turned out, we no longer had to go through with the trial because a much better offer was on the table (6 months interlock, expungeable DUI arrest, 10 hours ASAP, reckless driving conviction with fees slashed in half). This was an offer I was much more pleased to take as there is no permanent damage done. It was disturbing to think that I would have a permanent, lifetime record for a stupid mistake I made one night in which thankfully, no one was hurt. The journey was intense and I'll never be nonchalant enough to find myself in that situation again. Thanks to Jeffrey, I can move on from this and I can even look back and laugh. We all make mistakes and this was quite the lesson. *victory dance*
