I am from Wales, UK- During a three month visit to the States (esta visa to visit my long distance partner of 2 years) my circumstances changed and I Married my now husband. Oblivious to the legal ramifications of adjusting my status, I began to investigate the process online- and was subsequently terrified by a thousand horror stories of deportation. I immediately called around some HIGHLY recommended lawyers- each one put the fear of God into us (sadly some of these were even 'friends' of my husbands neighbours and the even employer of a personal friend)- 'hire us now or it's likely you will deported', 'they come in the night to deport you (I was actually told this) 'when you're deported you won't be able to enter the States and see your husband for a year minimum- our fee is ****, sign with us and file tomorrow.' It was torture, I cannot explain to you how I felt. I contacted Ricky via his site and expected the same. He contacted me personally soon after and the first thing he told me to do was calm down (I think he was shocked at how panicked I was). He explained to me that my situation was nowhere near as dire as I had been led to believe, gave me a realistic solution, and advised me that even if I didn't hire him, not to be pressured into filing next day as the necessary documents can't be filed that fast with a good outcome- I learned from him that actually rushing to file immediately was more dangerous than taking the time to do things properly, even if it meant I was over my visa allowance.I am incredibly grateful to this man. I am a worrier by nature, he was always calm and available, kind and sincere. He walked us through filing, interview and adjustment of status, which resulted in my green card and being able to stay with my husband. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If you're reading this review you have probably had horror stories forced on you by predatory lawyers, I implore you to contact this man and let him do for you what he did for me. He won't charge you the earth, he won't lie to you and he will absolutely do his best- of that I am confident. Good luck in your immigration journey, I know how hard and intimidating it is- I wish you all the best and hope my review has helped.

My husband had a difficult case with Immigration including 3 DUI's. Even so, Mr. Malik was able to get the Immigration Judge to rule in favor of my husband staying in this country. Mr. Malik was really invested not only in our case, but our family. In his work you can see that he is committed to trying to keep families together. He is very honest and realistic about the outcome and what might happen. Our case ended up getting appealed by the prosecutor, which he had already told us would probably happen. For that reason, when the prosecutor did appeal, it was easier to accept and helped us to pre-plan. I highly recommend Mr. Malik to anyone that wants an attorney that will fight for them.

My name is Susan and I was born a United States Citizen in Massachusetts. I met my husband Leobardo in California in 2001. We married even though he was born in Mexico City and was in the country as undocumented.
We came to see Mr. Ricky Malik to see if he could somehow "fix" my husband's status. Leo wants to become a US Citizen. Ricky sat down with us in person for quite a while and explained all of our options, with all of the associated risks involved. He asked in depth questions about our situation to ensure he led us correctly in the right direction.
We were impressed and decided to go forward. During the several months afterwards, Ricky and his team worked closely with us to gather details for filling out paperwork, and they advised us what we needed and gave us examples of what would work and what would not. They told us what types of documents and letters would weigh more heavily in the decision process.
Any time during the process that we had questions, Ricky made time to see us personally and reassure us that the process was going smoothly.
When we were finally scheduled for the Visa interview, Ricky sat down with us beforehand and went over all of the paperwork item by item and gave my husband a sample interview to make sure he was prepared. He suggested ways of organizing the paperwork he was to bring to make the interview more efficient, and gave us warnings of the conditions of the area near the US Consolate.
When my husband went to the interview, since he was so well informed and prepared from Ricky, the whole process was extremely smooth. He passed with flying colors with no hassle. I am pleased to say he's back home where he belongs.
I would like to extend a huge thank you to the whole staff but most especially to Ricky Malik who made this all possible. I would definitely recommend his services.
I would also like to comment that the prices he charged were very reasonable and appropriate for the services provided.

Ricky Malik and team are amazing. They are not interested in collecting tons of money like others, but actually care about there clients. We tried to hire him to pursue my husbands legal status and instead of taking our money he said lets wait until the provisional waiver passes. We waited a year and when it was passed hired him. Mr. Malik and team made sure everything was in order and done correctly. He has helped my family so much!!! We will send anyone we can his way.

I was hiring many Immigration lawyers since 2001. For 12 years all my cases filed were failed in one way or other. I found that all these happened because of the poor an improper unknowledgeable presentation of my case to the authorities. I lost a lot of my time and money, suffered mentally a lot; that is unexplainable. Finally, one of my friends recommended me to hire Ricky Malik. By that time the case become so complicated and I had no faith in any attorney. Because, all of them I hired were either greedy or incapable or both. I met with Ricky, on the basis of my friend’s advice. Before meeting with him, he wanted to see all my case related documents, which I sent him my email. I met him and he explained me and family everything very clearly and the mistakes that were being done. But he did not assure me anything about the case. I found him very dedicated, intelligent and diligent. Since I had the bad experience with the BIG lawyers, I asked him about the fees. He explained me everything and it was affordable to me; comparing to the other lawyers I worked work with, it was cheap for me. He filed my case again and today I am a 100% happy man. I am fully satisfied with his performance. I am happy to recommend all who read it, before roaming around all the BIG lawyers, first make a try with Rick Malik. He is the one you are looking for, especially if you are in trouble. Besides, I would like say, his office staff is also very cordial and friendly, speaks Spanish and Hindi also very well like native speakers. At the end I have to say bluntly that if I did not have hired him, by this time I would have been deported, for no mistake of mine.

Ricky Malik is the Best Immigration attorney in Northern Virginia area. He worked with me and my brother on a complex immigration issue. He clearly understood the problem and gave us his honest opinion and guidance. He explained us all our options clearly and guided us with the best possible solution. He was quick to reply to emails and was easily reachable. I had contacted multiple immigration lawyers before contacting him and I can assure you there is no one more professional, considerate, honest and trustworthy than Ricky Malik in this business. Will work with him again in future matters.

Stop wasting time and look no further - Ricky Malik is the best immigration attorney you can find!!! After 18 years long unsuccessful immigration proceedings, going from one immigration attorney to another and spending over $50 000 in attorneys and court fees, after exhausting all possible appeals - I met Ricky Malik who immediately struck me as a very knowledgeable, honest, compassionate and dedicated to his job attorney - unlike the cold blooded, uncaring and mainly money motivated attorneys I've met through all those years. I was at my last straw - I was in deportation proceedings and I had exhausted all possible court proceedings and appeals with only one last chance to file a motion to reopen my case. Despite my desperate situation, I felt comfortable and confident with Ricky Malik by my side and I was very impressed by his creativity and diligence. Ricky Malik did what other attorneys thought was impossible - he worked and fought hard on my case to remove the deportation proceedings and to obtain a permanent resident status after long 18 and a half years. I very strongly recommend Ricky Malik to anyone! And, based on my long and painful experience with the US Immigration system and meeting so many cold hearted, greedy immigration attorneys - I feel sorry for all immigrants who haven't met Ricky Malik and hired other immigration attorneys. If Ricky Malik can't help your case, no one else can!
