DWI and Refusal Dismissed!

When I was charged with DWI (first offense) and refusal (first offense), I thought my life was over. Fortunately, after consulting with several attorneys, I saw Michael's profile on AVVO. I ended up reading all of his reviews and was impressed by the results that he was able to obtain with similar DWI cases. He was confident and realistic on the phone, so I retained him shortly after the consult. Going through this was a scary time, but I felt good knowing that Michael is experienced with these cases. Upon reviewing the video evidence, he gave me some advice on how to set up my personal affairs prior to the trial, and what kind of result to expect. We agreed on goals for the outcome, and a game plan if it did not go our way. I should add that he was able to accommodate my availability, and spent time with me outside of normal office hours (both on the phone and in person). On the date of the trial, the only thing the prosecutor was offering was a plea to the DWI and dropping the refusal charge. As we had discussed, we did not accept this and went to trial. Plan A was to make an argument that could get both charges dismissed, Plan B was to appeal it if the argument was not accepted. Fortunately, by citing previous cases and their outcomes, he was able to win the case for me, and both charges were dropped. I honestly couldn't be happier, it's a huge weight off my shoulders. I am really glad I retained Michael Robinson, and you should do the same!

Charged with Reckless Driving and DUI in February 2017

On National Margarita Day of 2017 I joined some friends to celebrate after work. I drove home, I got pulled for speeding, I performed field sobriety tests, and PBT, and was arrested and charged. I was terrified, and had to wait 6 months for the trial date. Michael made no promises, and all that I envisioned in my future was a criminal offense which would haunt my record for years. He had a plan but, again, he made no promises it would work. On August 1st, 2017, I was found not guilty of DUI. A burden has been lifted off of my shoulders and I can breathe again. I cannot thank Mr. Robinson enough! His knowledge of the law is impeccable, and he has such a calm, professional demeanor. I am appealing the reckless driving charge. I drove home today. AMAZING LAWYER

Mr. Robinson is phenomenal! He went above and beyond for me. He was always there when I called or was quick to return my calls throughout the process. He never made me feel left out and took the time to explain anything I was not understanding. Unlike other lawyers I had called, he was very kind, realistic and assured me that he would do everything in his power to help me out. Other lawyers were not very supportive and they did not bother trying to put in effort or find ways to help me. Mr. Robinson on the other hand came up with a game plan and delivered it. Excellent Representation

From the free consultation to securing and entering my plea deal, Robinson Law have been excellent representation every step of the way. During the consultation process, Joshua provided immediate reassurance to both my mother and myself that we did not feel from other firms we contacted, some of which also charged much higher prices. He also furnished me with a list of recommended pre-court tasks to help secure a better outcome. Very pleased with my outcome

Attorney Michael Robinson Is An Amazing Criminal Defense Attorney. My Son Had 7 Serious Charges, Both Felonies And Misdemeanors. Dedicated and Knowledgeable Legal Representation -- Best Possible Outcome For My DUI Case

In August 2020, I was unfortunately arrested in Loudoun County for DUI (First), with a recorded BAC of 0.15. This is a serious matter for anybody and should be treated as such. Like many, particularly in the DC area, I brought with it the complexity of some professional impacts that a DUI conviction would bring. I immediately began researching attorneys and met with several by phone and in person. Many were arrogant, judgmental, or simply short on time with me. The team at Robinson Law were none of these. Michael Robinson and the staff at his firm were, by far, the standouts of all the attorneys I spoke with. Michael listened and had me explain the details of my arrest and asked specific and intelligent questions. There was never a feeling of being judged, just a feeling of somebody that has helped people through this before and wanted to find the best path to help me as well. I knew immediately that I was going to get all the attention I needed, and that held true for the entirety of the case. He was always quick to respond to my questions, generally calling me within minutes of a text or email, regardless of the time of day. On the day of my hearing, Michael was able to use his vast experience in handling these cases, as well has his negotiating skills to convince the prosecuting attorney to drop the DUI charge. Later, because of my DUI charge being dropped, I wanted to immediately pursue expungement of the charges. Michael was so clearly experienced in this type of case as well, that throughout the entirety of the expungement case, I spent fewer than 15 minutes dealing with it personally, which includes my time in front of the judge. While I'm committed to never needing this type of legal support again, I am truly thankful I got the support and experience from Robinson Law that I needed. I couldn't have hoped for a more professional, comforting, and knowledgeable legal experience. I couldn’t recommend them higher.

Michael Robinson, best decision I made!

I found Michael Robinson's firm through a Google search, read a few reviews and gave him a call. Best decision I could have possibly made! That initial call was the first time I breathed a sigh of relief since my son was told in court he faced jail time for his excessive speeding ticket in VA. Even before we signed a contract or made a payment to him, Michael offered information and perspective that helped my family finally feel in control our situation. Once hired, he helped us lay out a plan of action to prepare for court that gave our son the absolute best chance he had of lessening his penalty. And come time to appear in court, we really realized what a gem he was! I had no idea how well connected Michael was in the VA courts but holy cow, he knows everyone! From prosecutors to judges and all the court staff in between, there is no doubt that his stellar reputation made a huge difference in the outcome of our case. He saved my future!

When I was charged with DWI and Refusal I called several lawyers before stumbling across Mr. Robinson. After reading his reviews I realized he is the person I want fighting for my freedom. I decided to reach out and explained my story he was confident in my case and was straightforward. I retained him and was able to setup a payment plan. When viewing my video he found several flaws. The flaws that he found helped me get the best outcome for my situation. DWI and Refusal dropped to a Reckless Driving with no jail time and a fine. I’m able to drive in Maryland still. Dui, Eluding, and Open container

I thought my life was over and I wasn’t going to be able to keep my job. I called multiple lawyer, but everyone was over priced. Robinson understood that I was in a bad position and needed help. He worked out a payment plan that was affordable for me. He had my charges drop to a reckless driving. Robinson is the best person to call for a dui in VA.
