The Founding Member of The Hamrick Group, LLC, Mr. Hamrick emphasizes client service as the primary focus of his firm.  Whether the client is an individual involved in a divorce proceeding, or a company facing bankruptcy or immigration issues, Mr. Hamrick provides compassionate and zealous representation.  

Mr. Hamrick's skill is evidenced by his many and varied legal accomplishments.  During his career, Mr. Hamrick has attained the highest rating of an international attorney rating service.  He has successfully represented a variety of clients, be they individuals or businesses in the telecommunications, entertainment and energy industries. 

Mr. Hamrick's experience goes beyond the courtroom.  He has regularly represented clients in meetings on Capitol Hill, federal and state agencies, and the government agencies of foreign nations.  For example, Mr. Hamrick was instrumental in the Federal Communications Commission's adoption of cellular telephone rules in the Gulf of Mexico, defending his client's interests against much larger cellular carriers such as Verizon and ALLTEL.

Corporate dealings are also a specialty of Mr. Hamrick's.  He has aided startup companies in their formation and growth.  Meanwhile, Mr. Hamrick has also provided legal assistance for the creation of billion-dollar entities and mergers, such as the AOL - Time Warner merger.

A frequent speaker at industry and civic events, Mr. Hamrick has given presentations on the law before international audiences.  In addition to speaking engagements, he has also authored articles in industry publications.  Mr. Hamrick has been featured in a French magazine concerning business competition.   

Mr. Hamrick earned his Juris Doctorate from Washington College of Law in Washington, DC.  Before that, he attained his Bachelor of Arts degree from American University in the Nation's Capital, where he was also selected as the outstanding graduate of the university's broadcast journalism program.

A native of Baltimore, MD, Mr. Hamrick resides in Montgomery County, MD with his wife, Jacqueline, and their three cats (Pancakes, Marty and Rosie).  He holds licenses to practice law in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC.  Mr. Hamrick is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
