For example, Mr. Hamrick was instrumental in the Federal Communications Commission's adoption of cellular telephone rules in the Gulf of Mexico, defending his client's interests against much larger cellular carriers such as Verizon and ALLTEL.
Corporate dealings are also a specialty of Mr. Hamrick's. He has aided startup companies in their formation and growth. Meanwhile, Mr. Hamrick has also provided legal assistance for the creation of billion-dollar entities and mergers, such as the AOL - Time Warner merger.

Mr. Hamrick earned his Juris Doctorate from Washington College of Law in Washington, DC. Before that, he attained his Bachelor of Arts degree from American University in the Nation's Capital, where he was also selected as the outstanding graduate of the university's broadcast journalism program.
A native of Baltimore, MD, Mr. Hamrick resides in Montgomery County, MD with his wife, Jacqueline, and their three cats (Pancakes, Marty and Rosie). He holds licenses to practice law in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC. Mr. Hamrick is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
