There were two times in my life where as I pushed the "send key" on my computer keyboard it frightened me.
The first time was at work after I drafted an email to the owner that I strongly felt our company was not in compliance with the law,
(and here's the scary part, that I would not be a party to this behavior).
The second time was sitting at home, after being terminated, and prepairing to consult an attorney at the website of R.Scott Oswald and his team.
At that moment "pushing the send key" meant I was entering into a frighting world of money spent, threats and retribution from my former employer, and worst of all stepping into the unknown world of legal battles.
I pushed the "send key" anyway….
The moment I spoke with Mr.Oswald I felt a powerful sense of relief.
And over the next 11 months Mr Oswald's team painstakingly sifted through the facts of my situation and prepared a bulletproof case.
In the end the issue was resolved.
I strongly suggest if any part of my story sounds ,or feels remoteley familiar to you ,do what I did….push the "send key" two times….

I hired Mr. Oswald to handle a harassment case against a former employer. Immediately after making my initial deposit, the work on my case seem to drag on forever. This was done to invoice me as much as possible. After making inquiries about the overbilling, I received a very unfriendly attitude from Mr. Oswald and he would never provide a clear explanation of their charges. At the end of the day, their representation was weak and ineffective. Due to the mishandling and over-billing on my case, I was forced to drop the case. DO NOT TRUST THIS FIRM WITH YOUR CASE. Do yourself a favor and find an honest firm to handle your case.

I recently consulted with Scott Oswald on an employment discrimination case and was very impressed. As an attorney myself, I had thought I missed an all-important SOL deadline and was out of luck. Not only did Scott do a very good job of hand-holding and comforting me ("We've all been there"), but he also pointed me to another statute that offered the same remedies for my client without the same draconian SOL limitations. And he explained and clarified much more beside all that. I am very grateful that I called him. He knows his law and explains it clearly. If I have a case back on the east coast I'll be calling to get him as co-counsel. There's no higher praise than that, believe me.

We contacted, consulted with, and hired R. Scott Oswald to represent us for False Claim Act and Retaliation. Mr. Oswald is an excellent trial attorney with an extensive knowledge in whistleblower protection, qui tam, wrongful discharge, and employment discrimination. Our case was tried in court and resulted in the jury finding in our favor. During trial, he was absolutely incredible in framing the evidence, and drawing the attention of each juror to the relative facts.
Our case was long, complicated, and discouraging at times. However, Mr. Oswald, with his team, pulled it together, simplified it and guided us through the legal process up until the end. Mr. Oswald was accessible to us throughout the years he worked on our behalf. He was available day and night, and kept to his promise to respond within an hour for emergencies, and no later than 24 hours after any question or concern was raised to him.
His calm, collective, and humble demeanor kept us focused during the most stressful and disheartening times. He always treated his colleagues, staff, and everyone around him with the same manner that he treated us, with dignity and respect. As our case proceeded over numerous years, fellow attorneys and law clerks were brought in during different phases of our case. Each of his staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the preparation of our case.
If your employer retaliates against you because you did the right thing, we highly recommend, Mr. Oswald. We can attest that he will give you the voice that you need, the guidance that you deserve, and will make sure you are heard.

He was very thorough and his understanding of my situation made me comfortable with the experience and the expense. Also His knowledge of the subject appeared to make my previous company very nervous.

This is the law firm you never want to hire. After paying about $20,000, they did not do anything meaningful for my case but talked to the defendant’s lawyer for 30 mins. Finally I settled the case by myself and got two times more money than they could settle for me.
It charged me more than $6000 for just organizing the file I sent to them; when I called the lawyer, he even told me he never received the file from me and of course he never read them neither.

I recently engaged The Employment Law Group to assist me in gaining a satisfactory arrangement regarding my forced early retirement from my firm, a large professional organization. I was being pushed out the door at 59 and a half. Given the unlikely chance that I would ever regain even 1/3 of my annual earnings, I sought a fair deal. Scott Oswald and TEGL helped me achieve that.
Scott’s team exhibited great perspective and counsel, and always worked efficiently. While I realized that my case was not very big, they never made me feel that I was a secondary client. They were prompt and responsive, and gave me the sense that they shared my sense of urgency. I would be pleased to recommend TEGL to anyone needing employment law-related assistance.

Scott and his team are an AMAZING group of people. I was extremely impressed with his honesty, patience, ability to explain complex issues, thoroughness, professionalism and above all, his care and compassion towards others. He managed to radically change my opinion of lawyers. He is a terrific human being and it shows in everything he does. He is very knowledgeable about the law and the settlement he negotiated exceeded my expectations. He kept me informed every step of the way and clearly explained my options. He is top notch in everything. My life changed for the better thanks to him!

Scott is a compassionate and talented lawyer who has obviously found his calling in life. He helped me and my family through a difficult encounter with a large Firm with issues centered around the discrimination of military personnel in the workplace and specifically involving treatment of individuals suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I highly recommend Scott and The Employment Law Group to anyone who finds themselves being retaliated against due to "internal whistleblowing" and especially those who are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Scott and his team operate with complete integrity and with the skills and knowledge that can only be considered outstanding. The financial costs of his service honestly pale in comparison to the outcome of my case. I recommend Scott and TELG with absolute confidence and without reservation knowing that anyone who reaches out to Scott for help will receive the highest level of professional assistance, personal attention, compassion and consideration.

Scott Oswald is a true professional; clearly tops in his field. He knows the law. You want this man in your corner when the chips are down, or even to review a basic employment contract. He is up front and honest with his client from Day One. I highly recommend his services without reservation.
