Whistle Blower

Highly recommend! As my attorney Scott Oswald was extremely thorough in gathering and organizing pertinent information for the case! I received responses to my questions within hours, got regular updates on the case, and had an active role in the decision making. Scott was very sympathetic to the ...damage suffered. Throughout the process I felt that I was more than just "another case” – I was treated like a real human being! Scott Oswald’s expertise, experience, and professionalism made me feel very confident! Highly recommend!

R. Scott Oswald is an Experienced Superior Legal Expert in False Claim and Retaliation and an Exceptional Trial Attorney

We contacted, consulted with, and hired R. Scott Oswald to represent us for False Claim Act and Retaliation. Mr. Oswald is an excellent trial attorney with an extensive knowledge in whistleblower protection, qui tam, wrongful discharge, and employment discrimination. Our case was tried in court and r...esulted in the jury finding in our favor. During trial, he was absolutely incredible in framing the evidence, and drawing the attention of each juror to the relative facts. Our case was long, complicated, and discouraging at times. However, Mr. Oswald, with his team, pulled it together, simplified it and guided us through the legal process up until the end. Mr. Oswald was accessible to us throughout the years he worked on our behalf. He was available day and night, and kept to his promise to respond within an hour for emergencies, and no later than 24 hours after any question or concern was raised to him. His calm, collective, and humble demeanor kept us focused during the most stressful and disheartening times. He always treated his colleagues, staff, and everyone around him with the same manner that he treated us, with dignity and respect. As our case proceeded over numerous years, fellow attorneys and law clerks were brought in during different phases of our case. Each of his staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the preparation of our case. If your employer retaliates against you because you did the right thing, we highly recommend, Mr. Oswald. We can attest that he will give you the voice that you need, the guidance that you deserve, and will make sure you are heard.

A few thoughts on R. Scott Oswald

I recently consulted with Scott Oswald on an employment discrimination case and was very impressed. As an attorney myself, I had thought I missed an all-important SOL deadline and was out of luck. Not only did Scott do a very good job of hand-holding and comforting me ("We've all been there"), but h...e also pointed me to another statute that offered the same remedies for my client without the same draconian SOL limitations. And he explained and clarified much more beside all that. I am very grateful that I called him. He knows his law and explains it clearly. If I have a case back on the east coast I'll be calling to get him as co-counsel. There's no higher praise than that, believe me. Paul

Employment Lawyer

He was very thorough and his understanding of my situation made me comfortable with the experience and the expense. Also His knowledge of the subject appeared to make my previous company very nervous.

Expert in dealing with large Firms!

Scott is a compassionate and talented lawyer who has obviously found his calling in life. He helped me and my family through a difficult encounter with a large Firm with issues centered around the discrimination of military personnel in the workplace and specifically involving treatment of individua...ls suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I highly recommend Scott and The Employment Law Group to anyone who finds themselves being retaliated against due to "internal whistleblowing" and especially those who are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Scott and his team operate with complete integrity and with the skills and knowledge that can only be considered outstanding. The financial costs of his service honestly pale in comparison to the outcome of my case. I recommend Scott and TELG with absolute confidence and without reservation knowing that anyone who reaches out to Scott for help will receive the highest level of professional assistance, personal attention, compassion and consideration.

"Scott Oswald, with his colleague, Jason Zuckerman, recently presented a discussion on Whistleblower laws for the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland. I found Scott's presentation to be very informative, even for the more experienced bar members. More importantly, I found Scott had the one trait, necessary for an outstanding litigator. He had the ability to discuss complex subjects in simple terms. He can do so without belaboring a point, which I suspect is why several juries have found his closing arguments compelling."
