My son was falsely accused of a grand theft auto last March of 2016. I hired Jason to represent him. A friend of our family recommended him. Jason certainly had is work cut out for him. The case was very involved. Throughout the entire 4 day trial, Jason remained confident, focused, VERY detail...ed, thorough and extremely professional.. I was charged with driving under the influence following a police stop in late 2015. I consulted with Jason the following week and was impressed with his review of the available records, recommendations, and desire to take the case to court. He discussed the available options, including the first ...offender program (a criminal charge with lesser charges), possibility of a plea to reckless driving if offered, and taking the case to court, and the risks and benefits of each. Ultimately when the case went to trial, Jason performed an excellent cross examination of the arresting officer, including review of the video footage from the stop and legality of the stop itself. Jason's excellent courtroom performance ultimately led the police officer to become distressed and confused while serving as a witness. Given the questionable legality of the stop, in coordination with Jason's excellent questioning and the police officers visible frustration, we were able to plea to a lesser charge. Many other lawyers that specialize in DUI law, particularly in Delaware, will often recommend accepting the first offender program as the primary option. Throughout the nearly year long process, Jason was willing to consider different options, was open to taking the case to trial, and ultimately resulted in a lesser charge. While the best option certainly is to avoid drinking and driving; for those in a similar situation looking for a lawyer - Jason is an outstanding, knowledgable, and tenacious attorney that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Attorney Antoine undertook a DUI case with additional ( very serious ) misdemeanors on my behalf. He was always professional, prompt and vigilant when it came to representing me.He's seemingly annoyed at times but in no way disrespectful or hostile. At my Prelim he was focused & aggressive while cr...oss examining the arresting officer. He also negotiated a short probation period resulting in my charges being dismissed totally. I had a very disappointing experience with Jason Antoine and felt the process was extremely unprofessional. First, his office charges $2,000 just to determine whether he will take your case if your loved one is in jail. This money does not go toward the actual legal fee, which I believe should be ...clearly explained to families upfront since many people are already under financial stress in these situations. In my case, I was initially told he would take the case, which gave me hope during a very stressful time. However, days later I received a call back saying he would not take the case after all. This was extremely frustrating and left us feeling misled after already paying a large amount just for a consultation. For anyone wondering about cost, I was also informed that his fees start around $25,000 and go up from there. Another concerning issue was the attitude toward clients. It was communicated that he does not like clients calling frequently, which is surprising considering families are often desperate for updates when a loved one is in jail. When people are paying large sums of money, communication and professionalism should be expected. Overall, my experience left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I would strongly encourage anyone considering hiring this attorney to ask very clear questions about fees, communication expectations, and whether any consultation fees will apply toward representation before paying anything.
