Great outcome
I hired Mr. Farren after I was charged with DUI. He was easy to talk with and explained everything thoroughly. The office was very accommodating with appointments. In the end, because of Mr. Farren, all of my DUI charges were dropped. A horrible situation turned into a great outcome. I would definite...

The best around
I had a pretty serious case and I consulted a lot of attorneys from Hurley, to Foley, to Maurer. None of them really peaked my interest so I kept looking. Found Fran's Avvo page and read the reviews like most propel would. I saw the bad review but also read Fran's response. After I met with him perso...

horrible lawyer!!! total waste of money!!
My experience with Mr. Farren was a complete joke. He was never available to speak with over the phone to prepare for court or answer any questions. The main reason he was hired for this defense case was to subpoena for a surveillance tape as evidence, and he never obtained it or followed up to try t...
When I first read this review, I felt it was completely laughable. Then I realized that a negative review, no matter how false of how slanderous it was, may affect someone else's opinion of my firm so now I feel the need to respond. First, this review wasn't even written by my client. It was written by Tia, the girlfriend of Shane, a young man who hired me to represent him for Careless Driving, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, and Failure to Exchange Information at an Accident Scene. If convicted of all of these charges, Shane would be subjected to fines of $280.00 - $1,340.00, 6 points on his license, and a 6-month revocation of his license. Tia did say one correct thing (and one correct thing only). Shane did hire me asking that I get the video of the parking lot at Wawa from where he allegedly left the accident. At the outset, I requested that the State send me a copy of this video during the normal discovery process. They informed me that this video did not exist. Not happy with that response, I personally went to Court and got the Court clerk to sign off on a subpoena that I *HAND DELIVERED* (instead of simply mailing) to the manager at Wawa where the incident occurred. Several weeks later, the manager contacted me and confirmed that no video exists. Any assertion that I did not follow up to retain this video is a complete falsehood. Her comments that I had food stuck to my face, was sloppy in general, spoke unprofessionally, and was completely inconsistent is completely facetious. I ended up securing a plea for Shane to Failure to Report an Accident with a $25.00 fine, 2 points and no loss of license. For some reason, this girl doesn't think this plea was good enough for Shane and, I suppose, she would have preferred to go to a jury trial and risk Shane facing a large fine and losing his driver's license for 6 months. OH!!! GUESS WHO CONVINCED SHANE TO TAKE THE PLEA?!?!?!? THAT'S RIGHT......TIA!!!!!!! CAN YOU SAY ****HYPOCRITE****!!!!!! I am not displeased with how this case was resolved. Actually, *****NO ONE***** would be displeased with how this case was resolved. Simply put, Tia didn't want her "innocent" man to be held accountable at all for leaving the scene of an accident he caused and the fact that he was held accountable, even in the most minimal way possible, apparently frustrated her completely. Now she has chosen to exercise her First Amendment rights by slandering both me and my law firm. Thou shalt not lie. Please say a prayer for this woman so she won't burn in hell.

First Impressions are everything.
I generally do not write reviews online but I'm sure that anyone who gets a DUI is scared and will do what I did and Google and attorney and select Mr. Farren based on the reviews that are listed online. Although Mr. Farren represented my boyfriend I was extremely hands on with in this process. Duri...
Ms. Boss started her review in a veracious manner; however, after that, everything she said was completely false. I did in fact inform my client, not Ms. Boss that the worse case scenario for his case would be a 60 day prison sentence; however, I am fairly confident I could get him released after serving only 7 days. That is the end of the truthfulness of her reviews. I did attend two DMV hearings but I was never later. If I was, DMV would have ruled against my client and that never happened. During the first court date, I was on time, present before the judge took the bench. Ms. Boss was also present and while I was talking to my client, she immediately jumped into the conversation and started yelling at me, in front of the whole courtroom. Very disrespectful to everyone present. My client called me the next day and apologized for her behavior. As for the trial date, once again, I appeared on time. Yes, the police officer did not show up and yes, I asked for the case to be dismissed; however, the reason the officer didn't show up was because he had invalid service from the Court; therefore, there was no way the Court was going to dismiss this case due to his failure to appear. At that time, I informed Ms. Boss' boyfriend, my client, that he had one of two choices - he could ask for his case to be rescheduled and if the cop failed to appear then we could get his case dismissed, or we could just plead guilty and get the 60-day minimum prison sentence. He chose to plea because he already took off 7 days from work and didn't want to have to ask for another vacation a few months later. He choise to plead guilty, against my legal advice. Ms. Boss is misguided and is misinforming the reader about what actually happened here. I hope the reader gives this review the very little weight, if any, it deserves..
