This will be the most honest and fair review you will read on here. So if it’s taken down we know they skew the reviews. So here it is..... Dan is a nice guy. He is the guy that you would hang out with in a summer day and bbq with and drink beer. So if that’s what you want in an attorney, by all mea...ns hire him. But if you want the one that will fight for you as if his own life was in the line, he is NOT the lawyer for you. If you have a DUI and it’s even the 3rd one you get, I am sure Dan can get you out of it and cut a deal for you. He is very good at deals, as he should be because he is best buds with the guys in the DA’s Office. That being said, if you think you may have to go to trial, don’t hire him. He doesn’t tell you that, but I will. Dan isn’t a trial attorney and he will do things to get a deal that limits you if you decide the deal they offer isn’t fair. My experience is that the WHOLE system in Berks county is corrupt. The prosecution doesn’t care about truth and the defense attorneys only care about getting paid. So they work together and sometimes that is a good thing but other times not so good. When you watch the attorney you hired being best buds with the prosecution you don’t really trust your life to them. To be fair Emily is incredible! With out her Dan wouldn’t appear half as good as he comes across. Dan has a way of making you think he is telling the truth, but I cought him in a few lies. The issue was he was so good at lying I think he believes his own lies. And if I hadn’t have known truth I would have believed him. He is a smooth talker but we all know satan was a smooth talker. So yes, you will read plenty of reviews that says Dan is a great attorney, and maybe he will be for you, I just know if I had it to do over again I wouldn’t hire him again. That’s the truth. I refuse to get angry at things that I have no control over now, I just wished someone would have been this honest on here for me. Because I did find on other obscure sites people saying how Dan only wants his client to take deals and kind of bashed him, but because of being on an obscure site I didn’t put much weight into what they were saying. So beware! Dan is expensive and you don’t always get what you pay for. Proceed with caution! That would be my advice! And before you hire anyone, speak with multiple attorneys and do research. I had an attorney so confident that he told me to speak with other attorneys and that he knew I would be back. If I only hadn’t hired Dan first and could afford someone else I would have gone back to that attorney. Unfortunately I got a second opinion a little too late. Don’t be like me, get multiple opinions and prices before picking an attorney. I wish you the best!
