Estate settlement
Rob and his team did an excellent job helping me settle my mother's estate. Rob and his team were very responsive, and very fair in his pricing. I believe I received very sound advice throughout.

Eldercare Lawyer
If you are looking for an eldercare lawyer who is an expert in his field, committed to his clients’ needs, and successful in expediting the best results in caring for your elderly loved ones and in safeguarding their hard-earned assets, Robert Slutsky is the eldercare lawyer for you. My experience with Robert Slutsky and his paralegal, Sheila has been intellectually enlightening, financially beneficial, psychologically calming, emotionally soothing, When I first took on the responsibility as primary caretaker for my elderly and infirmed parents, I had no idea the enormity of the process that lay ahead of me. Mr. Slutsky assisted in procuring and completing the piles of necessary paperwork in caring for my father until his death and in transitioning my mother into nursing home care that would be covered by Medicaid. My eyes were opened to the complications and constantly changing legal landscape of eldercare. Mr. Slutsky helped me Navigate the labyrinth of Medicaid rules. He explained the nuances of federal regulations and assisted me in circumventing costly pitfalls that would have depleted my parents’ estate. For example, Mr. Slutsky informed me how as caretaker, I must show my address as my parents’ home for at least two years in order to have my father’s house as part of my inheritance rather than have it signed over to the nursing home. Mr. Slutsky’s timely legal advice and expertise also led to the successful signing over of other financial assets to my siblings and me, thus averting their being delegated to the nursing home. Having the knowledge and direction of Mr. Slutsky was instrumental in helping me maintain my calm over my years as caretaker. Both he and his paralegal were always ready and willing to entertain any concern or worry that I had. It was nothing for me to send an email at midnight and to have received an answer by 6:00 am the next morning alleviating all my anxiety. Mr. Slutsky was always reassuring and genuinely interested in my parents care as well as kind in appreciating my role as caretaker. I cannot tell you how unexpected these traits were and how above and beyond the professionalism of a lawyer they went. Most importantly was the emotional well- being I experienced in my dealings with Mr. Slutsky. I am confident that my parents were taken care of to the best of my ability and that they have received the care, respect, and love that they deserved in their final years. I am also edified that there are assets of their estate safeguarded to be divided among their children. This would make my parents very happy. They worked hard all their lives and saved well to leave a legacy to their children. To all who are thinking about taking on the role of caretaker or to those who already find themselves in that ever demanding role, I highly recommend that you seek an eldercare lawyer to guide you through this grueling process. I can think of no better eldercare lawyer than Mr. Robert Slutsky. Shirley Scheponik, R.N.

Wonderful Lawyer Gives Us Peace of Mind
We went to Robert Slutsky to re-draft our wills. The ones we had left us uneasy. Rob worked with us, patiently answering all our questions. Now we have wills that treat all our descendants in a blended family situation with fairness, plus Powers of Attorney that will fully protect us when we can no longer act on our own behalf. With his knowledge of Elder Law Rob was also eminently qualified to endorse the Continuing Care Retirement Center where we will go next Spring. You cannot go wrong with this attorney. He is knowledgeable, ethical and kind with a great sense of humor!!

Estate Planning - Medicaid Application
After caring for my husband who suffers from Ahlzheimer's for many years I realized he would eventually need care in a nursing home. I consulted with 4 Elder Care attorneys before hiring Mr. Slutsky. I finally realized I needed help with Estate Planning and qualifying my husband for Medicaid (MA). I met with Rob and he was very direct laying out the steps needed & what was the proper order to take these actions to best protect our estate. There were many unexpected hurdles on a separate issue that caused this to become a stressful process. Rob supported us throughout then completed my husbands application for MA while ensuring myself as the community spouse would also be financially protected. Rob & Sheila were there for us immediately whenever we needed them to answer our concerns/questions and advise us. Rob is an expert in Estate Planning and has thorough knowledge of the many do and don'ts of Elder Care and Estate planning. I would highly recommend Mr. Slutsky to anyone needing assistance with Elder Care/Estate Planning and the MA application.

Excellent Estate/Elder Care Attorney
Rob is wonderful to work with -- very professional, informed and quick to respond to questions. I would have never been able to navigate the myriad of legal intracacies regarding Will, estate, and guardianship issues without Rob's expertise. One piece of legal advice from Rob saved me thousands of dollars. Rob and his team have been lifesavers, and helped make a very difficult time much less challenging.
