Marianne helped me through financial matters that needed to be changed due to my husband’s Alzheimer’s. She helped in applying for Medicaid and keeps me informed of anything I need to do to keep up with any changes.
We went to Attorney Kreisher to have our new wills, POA and Living Wills drawn up. We've had other wills but have never had any other attorney ask the questions Marianne did. She was professional just personable. She wrote down all the questions we needed answers for and gave us a print out of them for us to take home. This gave us the opportunity to have time to think about them and provide the answers. She explained a Trust account to us, giving us both the pros and cons.
MARIANNE E. KREISHER is a founding Member of Kreisher Marshall & Associates, LLC in Bloomsburg, where she practices in the areas of elder law, estate planning and administration, guardianship, special needs planning and estate litigation. She earned her B.A. from Penn State University in 1993, where she was a member of the 1990-91 Lady Lion Gymnastics Team. Outstanding elder law work
Attorney Kreisher has provided my family brilliant elder law advice and legal work. When it became necessary for me to start taking care of an elderly parent, the documents she had prepared and her guidance have saved me countless hours of work and provided an immeasurable reduction in stress. Her work is efficient, accurate, and thorough, and I highly recommend her elder law services.

Exactly what we needed.
Marianne help my family when we needed most. When my father was burning through money at a nursing home, she helped him to get the assistance he desperately needed. That was three- (3) years ago. She still helps us today when there is a question or form to be submitted. I have recommended Marianne to friends and family.

Helpful
Hired Marianne as my attorney. Helped me with Pa. Aging since my husband had Alzheimer's, rewrote my will and changed my deed. Very helpful and kept me up to date.

Future planning
My husband and I came to Marianne after the birth of our first child to create a Will. We were new to the process of estate planning and weren't sure where to even start. Marianne was so kind in walking us step by step through this process and gave us great advice for our family with future planning. We decided to move forward with a Will and also a Power of Attorney document. Marianne was patient with our numerous questions and explained everything in a way we could understand. We would highly recommend Marianne Kreisher to anyone looking to plan for their future.

Financial future?
Having a sick husband with dementia, with him just leaving the hospital and being admitted to a nursing home, I was unsure of my financial future. After our appointment with Marianne Kreisher, my daughter and I felt she was knowledgeable and well informed and we left her office that day with a feeling of relief. Things turned out very well. I would recommend her to others and have already done so.

Exceptional Counsel for a Variety of Legal Needs
Marianne has represented me in dealing with both of my parents who were required to be placed in the care of a Nursing Home. It was a very long and complicated process, but she and her staff have helped me through the entire process and saved my family a very substantial amount of money. When my father passed away, she also helped with tax issues and the settlement of his estate. I would recommend Marianne to anyone for a wide variety of elder law or estate legal issues.

Marianne Kreisher's the expert!
Bad situation with my sister - not only did she put everything in terms I could understand, but she gave me all the options & helped me deal with all the anxiety that comes with such situations. We are still going through this, but I'm confident every step of the way that I have a champion in my corner & this will be resolved professionally and quickly.

Excellent Attorney
We would rate Ms. Kreisher a 10 out of 10.
Ms. Kreisher helped us with legal matters concerning my Mom ( Medicaid/Nursing home) etc.
We could have never done this on our own without her help.
Ms. Kreisher was extremely knowledgable with elder law and Ms. Kreisher always did what she said she was going to do.
Would highly recommend her services and expertise.

Trust & POA
We approached Marianne about wills, power of attorney and health directives. We ended up with a revocable trust,back-up will and power of attorney documents. We are pleased with the outcome which will ease things for our children when that time comes. She has been very quick to respond to questions about moving assets to the trust as I implement.

No Help
We hired her for elder care and we had issues getting some info along with closing accounts. We asked for help to only be told under review and all while I was ill and as said needed assistance to retrieve documents so don't believe the contract where it says will assist. Just lazy and earn off your work and then without notice dropped us as a client and she back tracks and blames us.

I only wish I could have had a great experience with her, but it was the worst I have ever had.
I do hope you find a better lawyer than what this firm has to offer. I cannot speak for all of the other lawyers on the team besides MARIANNE E. KREISHER. But Do not become her next VICTOM! We hired Marianne E. Kreisher to help us with a custody case. We gave her $1100. She told us this would be enough to get us all the way to the court date (one court date) plus answering emails and making phone calls to opposing lawyer and such. She ended up loosing us the case, because she refused to present the evidence that we had, which was crucial to the case. Then we decided to no longer work with her. After the court date, we got a bill for $2500. $2500?! She did such a horrible job, and is extremely no trust worthy. Don't you want someone working for you, on your side? Isn't that what you pay a lawyer for?? We could not understand the extra charge? When we first gave the $1100 she told us this would cover 1 court date, plus several phone calls and emails. So why on earth did it cost an extra $2670? I have tried to dispute this charge so many times, but it is still on my husbands credit report, so not only did she cause us much grief and pain, as well for our lovely stepdaughter, she has made it very difficult for us to buy a home. I could probably go on about much more, but bottom line, DO NOT TRUST HER!!!

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
"I have known Marianne for many years. She is one of the few attorneys in PA who have been practicing solely in elder law for many years. She is active in the elder law bar and is generous in helping colleagues. It is clear from her answers when questions are posed that she understands all of the facets of elder law and her answers are practical and thoughtful. I have great respect for Marianne and would feel comfortable referring my friends and family to her."
