Laurie came highly recommended for a sensitive criminal matter that occurred in the City of Philadelphia; a false arrest that without her expert direction and attention to detail, could have single-handedly and erroneously destroyed my career. Although our initial consult was over the phone, it was as if I was sitting in her office. She is very personable and a great listener. Once I made the decision to hire her, she requested my supportive documents and a summation of events. She went thru them with like a fine-tooth comb and came back with additional inquiries. She even took the initiative to contact the opposing counsel in an attempt to resolve the matter outside of court due to lack of substantial evidence on the part of the other party. When that failed, she moved forward with preparation of my case. The week of the case we met in-person to finalize the strategy in which she provided me written outline of questioning for the day of hearing. It was quite refreshing to have a lawyer actually provide me an outline of her talking points and litigation strategy before the court date. This allowed me to review the information and provide additional feedback. She was definitely well equipped for the court session combined with passion and “fight”.
