Laurie came highly recommended for a sensitive criminal matter that occurred in the City of Philadelphia; a false arrest that without her expert direction and attention to detail, could have single-handedly and erroneously destroyed my career. I was incarcerated for approx.20months. During this time I had two prior lawyers working on my case however the turn around time to get my convictions resulted were moving very slowly. She would set-up video conference with me when needed and also kept my family in the loop as well. Laurie is simply the best! I highly recommend her when it comes to PFA cases. Bottom-line, she litigates these types of cases as if they were actual trials by ensuring she brings in as much evidence and supporting documents as she can. She does not take anything for granted in terms of assumi...ng that a judge will rule in her favor. She brings all things to bear and actually goes on the offensive against the other party rather than just taking a defensive approach. I contacted her because I live out-of-state where the case was being held. It required us to communicate via phone and email frequently to prepare for the case. She consistently responded in a prompt manner and kept me informed of every phase of the process. Upon my initial consultation with her, it was evident that she had a vast amount of experience listening to clients to clearly understand the situation from a personal standpoint to really get a sense of what was at stake. Although our initial consult was over the phone, it was as if I was sitting in her office. She is very personable and a great listener. Once I made the decision to hire her, she requested my supportive documents and a summation of events. She went thru them with like a fine-tooth comb and came back with additional inquiries. She even took the initiative to contact the opposing counsel in an attempt to resolve the matter outside of court due to lack of substantial evidence on the part of the other party. When that failed, she moved forward with preparation of my case. The week of the case we met in-person to finalize the strategy in which she provided me written outline of questioning for the day of hearing. It was quite refreshing to have a lawyer actually provide me an outline of her talking points and litigation strategy before the court date. This allowed me to review the information and provide additional feedback. She was definitely well equipped for the court session combined with passion and “fight”. I have known Mrs. Jubelirer personally for over 15 years. I knew that she practiced law and was never in need of a lawyer until my son at the age of 16 was wrongfully charged with a crime he did not commit. First, I consulted with Mrs. Jubelirer just to get some guidance on our situation she was mo...re than helpful. I then hired her to be our Attorney and she worked very diligently to make sure that the law was being followed and the case against my son was fairly judged. The legal process took over 9 months and Mrs. Jubelirer always kept me and my son up to date on all issues and court dates. She was very fair and reasonable with payment also. At the end of it all my son was found not guilty of his charge due to the hard work and stating the facts of the law statutes. I hope that I will not need Mrs.Jubelirer services again but if I did I would most definitely hire her in a heartbeat.
