Scott Rothman is a dependable adviser and accomplished litigator. In his view, the only way to solve a legal dilemma is to start by asking the right questions. Whether in the role of consultant or advocate, he helps people and companies understand how the law provides answers, and what to do when the answer isn’t clear.
Scott founded the firm's real estate practice, encompassing both litigation and transactional matters. Through his work on behalf of the major title underwriters, he has developed the tools to get deals done right, and to cure deals gone wrong. In the courtroom, his track record for unwinding frauds and resolving property disputes has earned him accolades as one of Pennsylvania's premier real estate litigators.
While Scott devotes the bulk of his practice to real estate engagements, he and his team also sustain a general civil practice across the Greater Philadelphia region, including South Jersey. In that capacity, he counsels business owners and individuals, and offers commercial and personal litigation services.
Prior to attending law school, Scott served with AmeriCorps for two years working in construction for Habitat for Humanity in North Philadelphia, and then taught public high school for a year in the same neighborhood. Scott maintains his interest in education through coaching mock trial students, lecturing at Villanova Law School on the subject of real property, and conducting seminars for attorneys and title professionals. When not in the courtroom or classroom, Scott enjoys community activities with his family in Upper Dublin Township, spicy food, and sailing.

Professional, courteous, and competent
Scott represented us in a nasty lawsuit with a fraudulent contractor and was in one word excellent. Scott provided good advice, had our interests at heart (i.e. recommending what is best for us even if it meant less work/billable hours for him), and was always professional and courteous. We happened ...

highly recommended
I was referred to Scott from a lawyer friend as I was in the need for a PA attorney with real estate experience. Scott was competitively priced, responsive and got us the outcome we were told to expect - in fact a little better than we expected. I would recommend Scott, without hesitation.

Scott did an excellent work for me
Scott helped me to pursue a deadbeat tenant. He was quick in gathering the details, thorough and frank in his assessment of the matter, and to the point in his approach. He also did a great job of keeping me informed and explaining things to me along the way.

I turned to AVVO for help and received many responses, one of which was Mr. Rothman's. From the moment ...
