Jonathan is the best lawyer and one of the best people I've ever encountered. I hired him at a time when tragedy and circumstances had left me with little faith in the system, the people working in it and really, things working out in general. He had such a thorough knowledge of the exact laws we w...ere dealing with (i.e. custody laws in Montgomery County), he quickly made me feel, and my actual position be, much stronger. He is a very intelligent, meticulously prepared, tough lawyer with an incredibly empathetic soul. Throughout my entire ordeal, I had five lawyers but I only had one true advocate. I highly recommend Jonathan Hoffman to anyone who needs a great family law attorney for their divorce or custody battle, because he tells you the truth but still fights as hard as he can for what you feel is the best thing for you and your child. In my case, there weren't many precedents in the county for what to do, but he managed to find quite a lot to counter the opposition. He stopped aggressive verbal attacks on me and he brought the focus back to what was important, my son, who is very happy and healthy today. He did not allow the opposing side to get away with intimidation tactics. He was tough but he was also just so knowledgeable. He is a great person to point to as an example of why you need a lawyer who specializes in family law. He knows it so well. Not many lawyers make you like the entire profession better. This one will.

Jonathan was professional, efficient, organized and highly proactive in my child custody case. His diligence in monitoring and responding to key elements of the case was commendable and his proactive information gathering techniques were impressive. He helped to shepherd all the salient facts of the ...case into an organized body of evidence from which he crafted concise arguments. I was also impressed by his desire to arrive at efficient solutions, outlining settlement and litigation options clearly and offering guidance, not coercion. Jonathan was obviously my advocate in the case and though I hired him to be such, he seemed far more concerned about a favorable outcome for my child and me than monetary remuneration. He seemed highly active in the case and was always accessible, responding to virtually all communications within 24 hours. Jonathan took the time to sift through enormous amounts of data and seemed to have an unusually strong grasp of the details of my case as well. Lastly, I was impressed by Jonathan's knowledge of judicial processes in both Chester and Montgomery counties and his strong network of professionals including psychologists, lawyers and parent coordinators. He recommended the use several other professionals and helped me to orchestrate their efforts judiciously. I also felt that my case proceeded far more efficiently (and beneficially) because of his ability to navigate inter-county issues and his suggestion to involve a parent coordinator in the event of future custody disputes. Overall, I found Jonathan to be an excellent lawyer and was very pleased with all facets of his performance in my custody case.
