Earlier this year, I got a bit too cocky with my slightly modified car and decided to take advantage of light traffic conditions on one of the major highways in lower Southeast PA in an attempt to make it home early from work to surprise my fiance. I hired Ed for a DUI charge back in 2000, on the recommendation of a friend, and Mr. Guyer helped me with obtaining ARD. I received a second charge around 2003, for which I had another lawyer represent me (bad decision) and the results were not so good. Fast forward to November 2015 and I get popped ...for another DUI. I didn't hesitate and immediately went to see Ed Guyer. Even with the "10 year look back" period between my second and third charges, I was still being considered a repeat offender in the court's eyes and I was terrified. The DA was seeking 48 hours to 6 months in jail and a major fine with a lengthy probation. With Ed Guyer on my side I received NO jail time, a DRASTICALLY reduced fine, and only 6 months probation. I appealed a speeding ticket that came with a 15 day suspension. The ticket was reduced to no suspension. When Bucks County clerks office sent the info to penndot there was an error and my license was suspended and I did not know about it for months.I Called penndot and bucks county for 2 days and go...t nowhere.my job was on the line over this matter.
