When I first reached out to John over the phone I was simply looking for some basic information or an initial consult, and ended up immediately working with him on the case. I met with John in December 2017, when my employer closed our office and eliminated my job. The company offered me a severance agreement so I would not sue for wrongful termination. The severance agreement had several inaccuracies which the company was unwilling to address. John also researched case law to determine if I had a case to make that I should receive the unvested cash pension which vested at 3 years when I was only employed for 2+ years. Case law was not favorable to my situation and we discussed options available to me. In the end John helped me navigate a scary time when your employer no longer wants you to work for them and gave me the confidence to resolve the matter.
