After getting my underage I was incredibly stressed and worried about the implications it could have on my future. As I consulted with many lawyer, ultimately Lauren seemed like the best fit to represent me. Lauren is steps above what you'd expect from an attorney. She is articulate, empathetic and consistent in her legal representation. I came to her with a mess of custody information and she took the time to efficiently review everything. I was really lost with all the legalities presented to me and... she was beyond wonderful in her explaining everything with such clarity. Lauren was my second legal representative in a divorce and custody matter. I paid a second retainer to obtain new and different counsel and at a lower than standard fee which was the first hint that she may understand and be able to read into a client's situation. Having the unfortunate opportu...nity to need new representation I am able to directly compare her services in relation to another on the same matter. I spent roughly five months running through what presumably 63% of all married couples go through and became frustrated with what I will call administrative representation at hundreds and hundreds an hour for only needing to rectify custody of one, a marital home and a level set of retirement accounts. I was worked over by a continual onslaught of legal docs requiring full review from former counsel for what I will claim to be a mechanism to defer quality of service. I was sent threats of being dropped by former representation (not a bad thing all in all) but was never and emails asking, "...what are your thoughts? Please review and reply”. I was done. Then from a second friend's referral I came to find, Lauren. Story short we had our hang ups (not a bad thing all in all) but in summary and the reason for this review is that, Lauren, would call me with updates of which the foundation was that she reached a point of or tentative agreement and/or a go forward plan and had direct input. There was a final point in which she stated she spent half a day of back and forth and the overall nonstandard agreement was done. She understood my full situation and my general sediment. She then went to work with minimal additional time required on my end. I'll pay for that type of expert level work ethic and skill set all day long. I believe her tag line is something to the effect of thoughtful representation. I could not agree more. Family 'law' lives in the grey more so than criminal. Lauren, living in both realms has more value than some will appreciate. I technically give 4.75 stars out of 5 only because I was lightly told that I might want to find new representation. Once again, not a bad thing all in all. The idea of nice people finish last is for the simple minded. Only the agreeable finish last :). Lauren, was my rock star closer. My Mother hired and worked with Lauren while I sat in jail waiting on my court date. She kept my family calm and stayed in close contact with my mother. Routinely texting/calling to check in and provide updates well outside of business hours. Lauren met with me personally before court court on the m...orning of. She asked me to relay the details in my own words. And then she listened... She actually listened until I was finished. She was straight with me, and said she'd be asking the court for a lot that day. Some minutes later she returned and with the slightest of smiles said .... she'd earned her keep. She'd not only got agreement from all sides on the 7-8 things requested, but, I was immediately released from the courtroom and allowed to return home to my family. I'll complete a couple personal housekeeping items on my own and return to court in 60 days to have the charges dropped.
