Michael J. Halprin

I do not recommend this lawyer. I hired Mr. Halprin last year to file ch7 for my mortgage, at beginning, it was easy to meet him and receive his response promptly. After he received full payments, it was very difficult to receive his response and keep my appointments. I was stressful to work with ...Mr. halprin. I gathered all information for him to file for me and ready for an appointment with him before I leave the country for a short period of time. However, he kept cancelling my appointments twice until my departure day. He promised he would accept document via email if he needs while I'm outside the country; unfortunately, he did nothing. He was unable to file my case and agreed to refund full payment. Until now, I got a small amount of my money back from him. I have sent him many emails for the rest of my money but he just ignors those emails and never responds ever since.

My name is Sherri. Mr. Helprin's practice handled my bankruptcy case in 2010, and knowing what I know now, I would have been better off if I represented myself! This law practice personifies, in my opinion, everything that is the quintessential shitty attorney. From providing incorrect informatio...n then denying they did it, to ignoring client emails and phone calls, not following up on proof-of-claim by the creditors, not providing answers to vital questions. It has bern 3 years since filing my bankruptcy, and I am still dealing with issues that could have been avoided if Halprin and his team were a bit more vigilant. I've purposely included my name so Mr. Helprin knows who exactly who has written this review. Also, based on the conversation I had with him today, I have decided to forego any further ties with Halprin. My suggestion to anyone seeking legal counsel: Stay far away from this man and anyone who works for him. By the way, it appears that all the attorneys who have worked for him quit! gee I wonder why?
