Michael J. Halprin

My name is Sherri. Mr. Helprin's practice handled my bankruptcy case in 2010, and knowing what I know now, I would have been better off if I represented myself! This law practice personifies, in my opinion, everything that is the quintessential shitty attorney. From providing incorrect informatio...n then denying they did it, to ignoring client emails and phone calls, not following up on proof-of-claim by the creditors, not providing answers to vital questions. It has bern 3 years since filing my bankruptcy, and I am still dealing with issues that could have been avoided if Halprin and his team were a bit more vigilant. I've purposely included my name so Mr. Helprin knows who exactly who has written this review. Also, based on the conversation I had with him today, I have decided to forego any further ties with Halprin. My suggestion to anyone seeking legal counsel: Stay far away from this man and anyone who works for him. By the way, it appears that all the attorneys who have worked for him quit! gee I wonder why?

We need help with our mortgage company with their final payment and I have called and emailed Mr. Halprin several times over the last 4 months with only one response. Today I am headed to his office for help. Are they even still in business? I need help! Next is a certified letter and action needs to... happen. They were great in the beginning but no help ever since.

Halprin handles bankrupcy cases but he does not meet with you to discuss thcase, he does not explain what you are paying for. His office hours are non-existent. Not a very well [repared attorney. you may have to continue your case because he has not had court documents prepared. He waits till a few d...ays before court to asked for additional paers and info from you. He doesnt listen to your input. No office staff that is knowledgeable works with him. He does ot get back to you in a timely fashion.
