Adulting is not my favorite thing, and yet, by encouragement of my proactive parents and my memory of a distant event, I decided to show up for myself (and ultimately others). My grandparents passed many years ago, and yet I'll never forget bearing witness to their heartfelt grief, which was rudely i...nterrupted by the confusion, angst, and sibling discrepancies when sorting through what was left behind. Estate planning is one of the most difficult thing I have ever done. We all work hard for our money and that should be respected in life and after it. It’s so complex it is easy to find any excuse to not do it. Angela Giampolo made me feel completely at ease. We had a discussion of assets and I was... given alternatives for distribution. We discussed estate taxes and set up an option that made the most sense for me- a trust. And after that we talked about power of attorney, living will and a trust to care for my dog when I am gone.
